The prices are high, but you can't find this kind of furniture just anywhere. We bought a handmade walnut table with chairs and a bench. 10% off if paying cash. We still got the 10% off while paying a deposit of 25% and the rest before delivery - which is about 9 months out.
I love Pilgrim House. We have never shopped there before, but stopped by to see what they had. We had the privilege of working with Tamar Schindler and she went beyond our expectations. She worked with us closely until we found just what we needed. She was very patient and helped us with our floor plans. We purchased a living room suite as well as furniture for our family room. Can't wait until it is delivered. Along with our new carpeting, we will have a home to be proud of. Again, thank you Tamar for being so patient and helpful.
Had another great shopping experience at the Pilgrim House. Have been purchasing furniture from here for over 40 years. Great quality and great service. Bernie was very helpful but not pushy. Confirmed what items were immediately available which was our concern. He made the whole experience enjoyable. Will continue to shop at the Pilgrim House!
From our arrival, to shopping for our new furniture the sales staff was exceptional. Our sales person Tamar S. was very attentive to our questions and answered all our questions great and small. We did visit the Pilgrim House multiple times to make the perfect decision on our choice and we are extremely satisfied. We will definitely visit this store again in the future. The quality of furniture at the Pilgrim House is outstanding. Staff were very helpful without hovering over you. Our sales/design consultant, Laura, answered all my questions and gave excellent advice on the living room furniture we ordered. Will definitely return in the future for new dining room furniture.
Bernie was a great help with picking out our new bedroom furniture. Not pushy and willing to work up numbers for several bedroom sets. High quality furniture. Can’t wait to get our new bedroom.
We love the Pilgrim House. We travel up there from Jackson because they have quality furniture and a very helpful staff. Bernie has been great. He has helped guide us through several major furniture purchases with patience and professionalism. Now that we're moving, we've headed back to the Pilgrim House to furnish our new home. UPDATE: We are in our new home in Brighton now and the furniture has been delivered with care without a hitch. Every piece is beautiful and high quality. Thanks again to Bernie and the whole Pilgrim House team for their wonderful customer service!
There was an interaction between my friend who Doordashed to this location and a bald employee who was less than stellar. They made a delivery and were met with the bald male employee's terrible attitude. She was glared at while making the delivery, and the man, once they were done, slammed the door so hard that the windows shook with the rest of the establishment. I wouldn't do business here with such an angry individual, and I hope there is a shift in how you'd treat potential customers before you drive them away for the sake of your business. It's a shame to leave this review with the plethora of other reviews detailing an entirely different and otherwise pleasant experience.
I enjoy shopping at the Pilgrim House. They have quality furniture. Bernie Thompson, Sales Consultant was so knowledgeable and helpful. Mr. Thompson is truly an asset to the Pilgrim House.
The quality and selection of furniture, along with the sales team/customer service I would give 10+ stars. Unfortunately, on the 3 occasions we’ve had furniture delivered it was so horrific I am certain we will never shop there again. First occasion they backed into our basketball hoop AND mailbox and damaged them both, second time made a long scratch in our bed frame excellent service department sent someone out and they fixed it beautifully today we had a large dresser delivered and these 2 men essentially DRAGGED it up our new hardwood stairs scraping not just the finish but into the wood across the bullnose of 2 stairs and left several scratches on other stairs and the landing. To make things even more disgusting, one of them yelled numerous profanities in front of my children. I called our salesperson not his fault and he contacted the service department to have someone come out to fix the damage, but why would we continue to buy furniture from a store where the delivery folks damage our property EVERY TIME?!? Sadly, there’s no way we can do this again.
