Small place. Staff is friendly enough and parking seems adequate. Overall a typical Pilot / Flying J From website... Our care and commitment to our team members comes from a deeply rooted history that started over 60 years ago when James Haslam II opened the first Pilot in Gate City, VA. Since that opening we have celebrated many accomplishments and have stayed true to our mission of "Connecting people and places with comfort, care and a smile at every stop." We are proud to be family-founded and we welcome each new team member as part of the family.
Did a 10 here The truck entrance is NOT clearly marked. Most of the lot is reserved. They have 3 showers. They do not offer online check in. Parking is tight. They have a Burger King inside and a hot bar by the register. Employees were friendly There is a small area with grass to walk the dog by the fuel island.
Travel center is located off I-15 with easy on and off access. Drinks, food and snacks are available plus a Burger King inside Pillot. Gas is high but so is everywhere else. $5,15 for diesel, $4,45 for regular. Bathrooms could use a good cleaning. Plenty of parking.
Unfortunately, none of the staff knows that for 1 point, I can get a team shower. They gave me 1 shower, and to get the second shower, they demanded my discount card again to take off another point and press the second shower. I travel all over the country and have not encountered this at any Pilot TC. The staff started calling another employee to clarify this information. Understandably, a person on their day off...in the shower, I was expected to be forgotten by the employee who cleans these showers...I don't recommend anyone stay here. I will not even say that when I came in, I had to wait for the employee to lay out her goods to give me this shower.... me and 2 other people just stood there waiting for her to finish her business to go to the register. I have never seen such disrespect at any trak stop...
Only place around to stop for the night it seems. Overall good place to stay. Bathrooms were decent but definitely needed to be cleaned. The showers were VERY small lol. They were same as the bathroom decent but needed to be cleaned more. Only had warm water it never got hot and it was turned as far as it could go.
Nice pit stop for long hauls between california, nevada, and Utah. The bathrooms could be a little more updated, but it's a nice little stop with an attached Burger King.
Staff was friendly, showers were clean . First pilot I've seen give soap bars and have air fresheners in the shower area. Not too busy or crowded. 3 showers on site .
All showers used and they don't know when their janitor will be in to clean them, it's 8:00am and they won't even give me a used shower, I have an appointment to make it to, the embarrassment to face someone in stench frustrates the heck out of me, NOT impressed. The care for drivers is gone, welcome to you're new America. After a long wait finally a shower and the lady says look, no waittoilet wasn't even cleaned
If you're a trucker and running out of hours, I'd stay at the huge parking lot at port of entry into Utah, It's only 15 minutes away. The shower system is old so you can't use your app to reserve a shower. The parking is $17 for reserved, which is high IMO, but it's the same as the rest. To get into this place as a CMV truckdriver is also somewhat difficult because you have to go through round a bout and lots of cross traffic.
Classic is rude and lazy. He just stands around and does nothing while there are customers who need help and the store is a mess. Idk who put him as manager but that was the worst choice because this “man” does not do ANYTHING.
