Pin Oak Creek Campground
"Pin Oak RV Park is the best in midwestern camping. With plenty of amenities and on-site activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy, it’s no wonder we won the President’s Award of Largest Park of the Year by the Missouri Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Located on Historic U.S. 66, up the road from Bourbeuse Valley Pottery, getting to your home away from home is easy via Interstate 44 and US highway 50. Featuring a private lake for catch and release fishing, 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups for RVs, and plenty of courts for outdoor fun, you’ll have so much to do at our midwestern paradise, you just might be disappointed when your trip ends. Pin Oak is a haven for the couple or family that enjoys outdoor activities."

Very cute little park with exceptional service! Each employee we spoke with was polite and hospitable. The park has easy on/off freeway access and is super quiet. Pads were level gravel. Restrooms were newer, and very clean. Big playground equipment, volleyball net, miniature golf and big clean pool kept the kids entertained and happy. We really enjoyed site A-11, as it was close to everything and had a beautiful unobstructed view of the pond and fountains.
We had site B12 which was pull-thru next to the fishing pond. This is a beautiful RV park. Lots of mature trees, level sites, excellent utilities. Very nice camp store with lots of supplies. Firewood delivered to your site. We were escorted to our site. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this campground. We camped at Pin Oak RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
I was in town for a dog show at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, and stayed at this campground. Proximity to the show was excellent. Very quiet campground, lots of shade and places to walk a dog. Staff is very friendly. Only complaint was that my back in site 4-10 was a bit hard to maneuver since the spot next to me and across from me had their vehicles parked in that lane at the same time. I have a 30' TT and was not able to easily make that turn without multiple stabs to get in position. But once I was in, it's a nice roomy spot with lots of shade. I would definitely stay here again.
Busy place. We stopped for 1 night.. be replaced back where it looks like they store old vehicle parts etc. Took away the atmosphere. Close to 70 bucks and they wanted to charge another 10 to be in shade. Has nice water to walk around and there is shade there. Lots of activities. It seemed like families were enjoying themselves.
Passing through on Labor day weekend and they had an available spot. The front desk customer service was excellent very nice courteous. I especially liked the escorted service to our camp site. Power was good water was good camp site was fairly level and close to six flags and St Louis. Would definitely stay there again. Nearby activities: Six flags is close Food & drinks: All close by
The two ladies, Loretta and another lady, whose name I can’t remember were two of the nicest people. I had to reserve online because I didn’t have phone service and apparently goes to the corporate office, well there was a glitch in the corporate office system and our reservation did not go to their campground, Loretta got it all straightened out, took us to our campsite and even offered to get us wood for a campfire. We only stayed one night, the pool area was clean and had a nice variety of items.
This was a great RV park to spend time. Quiet and peaceful. Staff was amazing!!! Very friendly. Pool was nice and clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. There was a putt putt that we didn’t have time to play but looked fun. Also had a nice playground and a small lake in the back to fish. Would definitely stay here again when we are in this area!!! Traveled in 40’ fifth wheel with family. Nearby activities: 45 minutes to downtown St. Louis.
My fiancé and I stayed here for a little over 3 months while I did a travel nursing assignment. It was such a nice place for us to stay with our 3 dogs in our camper! Staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate on various occasions in our experience! Although, having more activities on weekends would have been nice! We had a blast and would definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in Missouri again! FYI, they definitely don’t allow mini bikes or ATVs, but you will still have a lot of fun!
I have traveled all over the country for the past 3 years as a travel nurse. I stayed in some great places. This was by far my best stay. The staff were warm, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This location spot has won a sweet spot in my heart for its family friendly and clean environment. I worked in St Louis, MO and it was totally worth the commute. I hope to come back as a vacationer here. 10 out of 10 will stay again.
Decent spot. We stayed for 3 weeks. Bathrooms were often not clean and out of TP and soap. The shower curtains were super dirty and mildew covered. The sites were good sized and fairly level but the hookups were weird. Our electric was on the passenger side opposite our plug so we had to run the cable under the camper and across our site. The water hookup for the site next to us was literally IN our site. Legit almost under our camper as it was in a hole in the ground covered with a metal barrel lid. The people who work there were super nice though and being about 40 minutes from St. Louis was also great.
