New girl was training & was shy but the older lady training her was very patient and explained everything as she was ringing up our order for our snacks. There was no line & they had just what we wanted which was a drink, something salty, & something sweet.
It was really impressive how much they care about the sanitation. The staff had gloves on. They didn't allow more than 2 people. And the portable toilet was clean with hand washing facility.
I visited the Pine Grove Pit Stop for the first time today and had the absolute best interaction of my gas-getting life there. Lewis was my attendant and made what is usually a monotonous, boring, usually aggravating task into one of the most awesome experiences of my life. He was contagiously happy and upbeat, very quick to help everyone there, and went out of his way and above and beyond to help everyone get what they needed quickly, always with a smile on his face. He is the sole reason I will be coming out of my way to come here again. Thanks for being awesome Lewis! You made my day 100 times over. You’ll change lives with you positivity and awesome personality, don’t ever let that go.

Of all the places to stop for gas in Hood River, I’m so glad I picked this place. Lewis is the man! What a cool guy with such great energy. I can’t remember the last time I chatted with someone getting gas, but he really puts his heart and soul into what he does. We need more people on this earth like him. Stop by if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it. Lewis - never change brother. Go Padres!
Friendly staff, quick fill up, attendant pumped gas. I was able to make a quick pit stop and the attendant handled the transaction without issue.
