Pine Lake Lodge

What an awesome experience! Not only was the food ham hock and schnitzel dinner so good, it was the whole dining experience. Our cook brought our food to our table after preparing it. I felt as if I were at my grandmothers home for Sunday dinner. We can’t wait to go back and discover more of the menu!! I’m only sorry it came to the end of the season. The best of all is, tomorrow they will cook all the food left and give it free! See you next season!!

We stopped for lunch and a few drinks at the restaurant/bar. Good drinks, outstanding food. We recommend the burgers and fish sandwich. The house sweet sauce is to die for! The service from our bartender, Melinda, was perfect - she’s very friendly! We will be back when we are next in the area.

We stopped to check out the cabins which were very nice n nice view of the lake. Great prices too. Following night we ate dinner there which was fantastic!! Great steak! We met the owner, he was awesome and so was staff. We will be staying there next year.

The smothered chicken was excellent. Both the chicken & jumbo shrimp Alfredo meals were excellent, but the quantity of pasta on the plate was the least I've ever seen at any other restaurant. My son and I were BOTH still hungry after those pasta meals. Some other minor issues: their sign to the west said closed. The men's room had no soap or paper towels when we first arrived. Overall though, I would still recommend this place.

After a two year hiatus because of poor service and terrible food from previous owner, my group of 15 went back this past weekend. Chef John and staff treated us like royalty and all 15 meals were served in a timely manner and tasted awesome. And we were happy to see “pine cones” were back! We will be returning every chance I get. See you in late October. Jim Sullivan

Excellent up north establishment. Kind staff, and good food at reasonable prices. Their cheese curds are the best around in our opinion. Chicken strips are hand battered and also delicious. Ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. The baked potato and the French fries were average but the mains were great. Fun place for the kids to watch the snowmobiles come in and out during dinner service.

Ordered battered fish and got breaded fish. Was told waitress it's the same thing - it's not. No apology for the mistake. Nothin'. Battered fish is gross I'm glad I was hungry because they weren't go to make me the right fish. Italian wedding soup was fantastic, and the bartender is always really friendly - a super nice lady.

Service is top notch, and the crab cakes are out of this world awesome!Food: 5/5

I rank this restaurant #1 for their southern comfort old fashioneds!! OUTSTANDING!! Their food is excellent, and the view of the water is a visual treat!!

We stopped going here a couple years ago because it had really gone downhill under the previous owner but thankfully that's all changed! Been back 3x so far this summer and the service and food are once again top notch! All of our food was good quality and perfectly prepared. The staff is super friendly and really seem to enjoy working here. The GM is super nice and made it a point to check on our group and thank us for coming in. Kudos to the new crew, we'll be back soon!
