Clean comfortable campground with a nice pool, toddler splash pool, basketball hoop, and games you can use. We stayed in the "resort" cabin and it was nice. A little odd you can't sit down and use the remotetethered to the TV, but didn't ruin the trip. Rooms: They also have nice looking yurt's and tent rentals. Nearby activities: F.D.Rosevelt State Park is only a few miles away and beautiful with great overlooks and hiking. They also have a spring fed pool. Calloway gardens is also a couple miles away with lots to do. Safety: We felt it was very quiet and safe Food & drinks: Our favorite breakfast spot was the calloway gardens restaurant and gift shop. Food was great, the sweet tea is perfect and the view was nice as well. We enjoyed the iron horse for dinner, food and service was great. Family friendly and dogs welcome on the porch. In warm springs, the Bullock house buffet was reasonable and great southern cooking. Only challenge we had in the area is a lot of places we wanted to try close early or are have limited hours during the week.
We loved this campground! Came through with our three small children and stayed under the pines. Ended up staying in a yurt on the property after having maintenance issues with our trailer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful Especially Melissa and the older gentlemen that helped us with RV maintenance and firewood - I wish I would have gotten his name. Yurt was great fun, comfortable, clean and the facilities were pristine.
The campground itself is very nice. Wonderful long pull through sites. Beautiful pool and playground if you have children. Would have given it 5 stars but the laundry facilities were pretty disappointing which is important to those of us traveling.
We stayed in one of the smaller yurts and loved it! The bathrooms are really close. Showers took a while to heat up but had great water pressure and were plenty warm. Bathrooms were spotless. We stayed there for 2 nights. The last night we stayed in the Java tent. It was so beautifully decorated. Java has a kitchen and bathroom inside. The only issue was there were no cooking utensils. I let them know after hours and they offered to reimburse me for the ones I bought. There was a Dollar General a couple minutes down the road so it wasn't an inconvenience.
My 2 daughters and one of their friends stayed here 1st week of june. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tub were excellent. The yurt we stayed. Slept 6 and was clean and the heating and air worked we needed both. All the guest we encountered were kind. The trip was ruined and I would never recommend that anyone stay here. 2nd day there was brown mess on 1 of the 2 toilets 6 yurt share 2 toilets. I politely informed the front office. Spoke with Melissa who claimed she already cleaned the restrooms for the day which was a lie bc all the same standing puddles were still there and nothing was clean. but made it seem she would send someone back to clean. She did not do so but instead had a sign placed "out of order" which was a lie the toilet worked fine as long as u hold the handle down. Placed a sign and didn't even lock the door or clean the feces up. Later pn the door was locked. They left us with little to no tp. We ran out they call this glamping1 toilet for 6 yurts. 2 showers. That is not adequate to begin and the flat out lies and laziness to have someone do the job. Melissa had no hospitality or customer service skill whatsoever. When I was calling back to address the still dirt toilets she spoke over me and continued to make "you and they " statements and even made a "box" gesture with her hands stating "this is my area" like I haven't been dealing with her about the issue the whole time. I did have some choice words for her at that point what else can u do with incompetence. I should have asked for the manager bit I just wanted to leave I was hundreds of miles from. Home alone with my children and was no where near being treated with hospitality.
We stayed on an RV Executive site . It was level , clean, and spacious. The shower / bath house was clean and neat Nice quiet park. We loved it! Nearby activities: Callaway Gardens is within a mile. There is also the wild County Safari a few miles away.
The campground was well maintained and the staff was kind and extremely helpful. The bathrooms were beyond clean and the steam showers were icing on the cake. Nearby activities: Callaway Gardens, Wild Safari Zoo, Carriage and Horses fine dining restaurant, and F.D. Roosevelt Stat Park.
They don’t allow Skoolies. I have stayed at RV resorts from Alaska to Virginia. Just because I made my own RV from a bus I’m not qualified to stay at your resort. I have several rv memberships all over the USA.Rooms: 1/5
Great campground, want to go back in the spring. Unfortunately when we were there it was during the cold spell at Christmas The people that work here are all very helpful and pleasant. All of the other campers that we spoke with were also very nice. Can't wait to go back when it warms up. So much to do and see in the area
My husband and I have stayed here as a monthly resident for quite some time now. Its a lovely place and we absolutely love old downtown Pine Mountain which is only 4 mins away. We have seen many other parks and this one surpasses them all. You pay for what you get. Might cost more than other parks but its a very nice place so thats why. We have really enjoyed this place. Its a very peaceful and calm place to call home during our transition from state to state. The staff is kind and efficient. Dennis and Mike, the maintenance men, have become good friends of ours. They stick to a really good schedule and I usually hear them on their golf carts everyday right at 9am to start their shift. It shows bc the park is beautiful and well maintained. There have been some hiccups but that is to be expected especially with an extended stay. However, the manager has always helped us out with any concerns we may have had and I've trusted that they do what they say they are going to do. The facilities are nice and and I use the laundry once a week. Garbage pickup is super convenient. I love taking very long walks around the park and all the different pathways. Its nice to spend time in nature and the grassy areas with the tall trees! I could go on and on...its just such a special place to us. We will remember it forever sad to be leaving soon but our future holds other plans for us. Thank you Pine Mountain RV resort and staff! This place will be missed ...
