Pine Pointe Hospice & Palliative Care, a service of The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Opened in 1982, Pine Pointe Hospice & Palliative Care was, and remains, the first and only not-for profit hospice located in Macon/Bibb County. Pine Pointe's accomplished team of professionals including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, bereavement staff, nursing assistants and volunteers provide inpatient and home hospice services under the direction of a physician. Pine Pointe serves Bibb, Baldwin, Bleckley, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Taylor, Twiggs, Upson, Wilkinson, and portions of Lamar Counties.
Pine Pointe Hospice & Palliative Care supports life and neither rushes nor delays death. Our mission is to provide for the physical, emotional, social & spiritual needs of the dying person and his family. We want to assist the patient and family in achieving a high quality of life.
