Nice little spot, staff were friendly and the place was clean. Bathrooms were ok. Food took a little bit but was fresh and hot. The food tasted good and was presented nicely, my eggs were a little over poached to my liking with a Benedict but not over cooked so they were still good. Everything else was fine. Will be stopping back to try some other things.
We had Isabella as our server and she was very polite and professional. Today was the opening of the patio so we actually sat outside but it got a little cold so they allowed us to come in and didn't make a big deal about it at all. Food came out really quickly and it was cooked to perfection! I think the price was perfect because the food was amazing! We will definitely be back!
Great restaurant. Great service - thank you, Marsha! We were here on a Sunday morning. Big portions. Everything was so tasty. Homemade biscuits and gravy. Parmesan grits - wonderful. Next time we come to the Grand Haven area, we’ll be back.Food: 5/5
The Pine Street Cafe is a local establishment with what seems a loyal following. The food is reasonably priced and a good value. The service can be a little disjointed - based on my experience- given how busy they get at times. Overall, if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a good meal, I'd recommend them.Food: 5/5
We had lunch today at the Pine Street Cafe. It is our usual spot. We had my favorite waitress Isabella, who took very good care of us. My wife had the Club Sandwich and I the Monte Cristo. Both big and tasty. It is such a friendly neighborhood place. It's fun to see the regular faces from the staff. I recommend this quirky little place highly.
First time we’ve gone since the new owners and we were very impressed! Staff was very friendly and I got the chilaquiles and they were fabulous!
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Down to earth food at down to earth rates. My mom had a sandwich, and I had the crepes. I highly recommend a coffee and breakfast with your friends or even bringing your family for lunch. The staff is kind and helpful. Quick service and delicious food.Food: 5/5
Everything we had was delicious. Reasonable prices. Service was good.Food: 5/5
NEW: Needed to update my review because the place really has changed with the new management and new menu. If you haven't been here in years, come back and give it a try! The menu is more modern than before while still being affordable. You can still get your Mickey Mouse Pancake, but there's also Avocado Toast and Chicken and Waffles now. I have had many many meals at Pine Street over the years and would say it's worth a try for anybody. OLD: Its a nice hole in the wall place. Nothing too fancy or flavorful, and very affordable.
In the past, this place had good food. We went today and was greatly disappointed. I asked for egg whites and got hard fries egg with yolk. My bacon was burnt, my toast was barely toasted and was like rusk. My husband asked for over easy and his egg yolks were broken. I told the waitress my eggs were wrong but she had excuses that the cook was getting a lot of orders wrong. I was never asked for a refill of my drink. We won’t be back!
