Officer Natalie Williams was completely condescending and disrespectful. My mom called her out to help her with a noise ordinance with neighbors and as much as we tried to resolve it on our own with no luck, the officers were of no help to try to mediate. She told us to buy the neighbors cookies, midol, and a hallmark card to resolve the problem. She was completely unprofessional and rude and was of absolutely no use to us. We understand the laws that follow along with noise ordinances but she was literally laughing and smiling in our faces about the problem at hand . She also had a male officer with her who said absolutely nothing throughout the whole thing so I don’t even know why he even came along. I understand that police work isn’t always easy, but when it comes to actually handling problems, they were completely lacking. Do better.
Is it regular practice for sheriff to accuse citizens of sleeping in a park during the day? Telling me I'm lucky he's not giving me a ticket, requiring my identification, then taking a secretive photo of me on his cell phone? Here's a photo of me at this park. Really felt like a prejudice stop and harassment type feeling. Needless to say I did not stick around for very long after he continued to not know how to tell the difference between someone tanning and laying down after yoga vs someone sleeping in the park, which he continued to accuse me of and say how lucky I was for not getting a ticket. If this is a law in all of Pinellas county, I guess I will have to move away and never come back, Cause on my days off, I quite enjoy yoga and stretching in the park. This happened at medeira beach causeway park on April 27th 2022 around 1430 , 2:30 pm. He didn't give me his name or badge number.
Called to get a friend arrested for an outstanding warrant from traffic court. Very fast and efficient service. They sent 8 squads and two choppers. The guy had already left out the back though before they arrived. The officers were very courteous.
Deputy Post from the sheriff’s office and a CSI officer whose name I have forgotten responded to our call about two bicycles stolen out of our garage within 30 minutes. In the ensuing five days Deputy Post did a great job in keeping us informed of his investigation. The subsequent recovery of our bicycles was a wonderful end to the story. Early July update: Deputy Post called to say that a warrant has been put out for the suspect's arrest because fingerprints and other corroborating evidence establish with little doubt that he was the perpetrator. Next update coming soon?
My son attended the Teen Driver Challenge this weekend. What an amazing experience this was for my son and the other 20 or so kids that attended this weekend. The deputies were amazing and these teens learned so much. I truly believe we have safer drivers on the road because of this awesome program. The fact that this is a free service that is offered to our teens is just incredible. If you have a teen driver, I highly suggest signing them up. Deputy Wolcott and his team out there impressed us today for sure. Thanks for instilling so much added confidence, knowledge of the vehicle and a very positive interaction with the PCSD. Thank you so very much for all you do!
"Under Florida law, criminal mischief also known as vandalism is defined as the willful and malicious destruction of property belonging to another person. Depending on the amount of damage caused, criminal mischief may carry misdemeanor or felony penalties, including jail or prison". sometimes all that paperwork makes it easier for a deputy or deputies to make excuses why a victim should not follow thru with prosecuting the perpetrator or perpetrators of an allegiance alleged* crime I guess your standards are not high then why strain yourself to reach? Right? GOD Bless America
A buddy of mine fainted in his car from covid related complications and was found unconscious and rescued by two Pinellas County Sheriff's Deputies. Throughout the ordeal, as I tried to figure out how to make my way from north Georgia to the Pinellas area, Deputy Fogler was amazing. She maintained control and awareness of the situation throughout the day. A true LEO, with the ability and willingness to help people who'd otherwise be helpless. I wish I could remember the name of the other deputy on the call. He was awesome as well. Both professional both clearly cut out for leadership positions within the law enforcement realm. But what do I know, I'm just a retired senior noncommissioned officer from the US Army Special Operations Command with 46 months of combat service. Anyhow, can't say too much about the department as a whole, but assuming these two deputies' actions are any reflection of the organization at large, then these people are more professional, more efficient, and more caring than your average sheriff's office.
Can I give 0 stars!??? Called to let them know about my car being illegally towed. They could care less. Only want to deal with you when they know they can get some $$ cash out of you from a court proceeding or fines. Literally told them to be at the tow facility because of how upset I was only to be told they would not be there under any circumstances??? So it takes me becoming angry and the tow yard then holding my car even AFTER I paid. Clearwater police.. the cops that do absolutely nothing and hep no one
They were really polite and gentle putting the cuffs on me. I would definitely recommend getting arrested by the Pinellas Sheriff's. All my arrests made by the Pinellas Sheriff's have been a great experience. I can't say enough good words for the fine folks down there!
