Great coffee, great atmosphere! I was immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere when I walked in. I love the wood paneling on the walls and the plants everywhere. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, so we didn’t have a problem finding a place to sit. I loved the music they were playing too, it just added to the chill atmosphere. They have a really nice shaded patio area with benches. I ordered the cold brew with oat milk, and it was delicious. My friend ordered a chai latte and they loved it. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the oat milk added a nice touch of creaminess. I also really liked the fact that they offer a variety of vegan and gluten-free options. The service at Pinewood Coffee Bar is also top-notch. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to make sure your drink is perfect. I also appreciate that they offer free Wi-Fi, so you can work or relax on your laptop while you enjoy your coffee. Overall, I had a great experience at Pinewood Coffee Bar. The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee shop in Waco. They are open from 7am to 7pm, Monday thru Friday, and 8am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday. They have a full menu of coffee drinks, non-dairy milk, and pastries. They have a wall of trendy merch and bagged coffee.
Adorable coffee shop with a great ambiance. It’s a sweet place to sit and stay a while. There’s plenty of seating, good music and a cozy feel, overall I loved the place. I would note that their coffee is a bit pricey for the amount you get.
One of my favorite coffee spots in Waco! The staff is always super nice, the coffee is steaming and delish, the music is on point...but it's the courtyard that wins my heart. Sitting outside under the oaks while I work makes computer time not-so-bad. Especially love how they support other local small businesses. All around a great spot!! Atmosphere? Awesome People? Very cool Coffee? Yummmm Parking: Park along the streets don't use the empty lot on Austin, they tow : There is parking in the lot of Pinewood, but we usually park on the street without issue Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for little kids out in the courtyard
Despite the huge number of quality competitors, Pinewood is, by far, my favorite Waco coffee shop. The vibes are always on top, the drinks are fantastic, and the merch is great too. Plus, the Huey Lewis is my favorite controversially-delicious drink don’t knock it till you try it! and I’ve never found a quality dupe, so that earns it some bonus points.
Delicious coffee. My wife and I always get basic hot lattes with the house brown sugar syrup added. Always great music playing on their record player. We prefer the giant outdoor seating area. Covered under a massive live oak tree. One of our favorite places in Waco!
I grew up around Waco and since moving away it’s gotten way cooler? Idk. This place had really great coffee. I loved the aesthetic and it seems like a nice place to hangout a while, but we were in a grab-and-go situation. The latte was way smaller than normal for the price point. While the coffee was quality and it had a nice vibe, I think I’ll try somewhere new next time we drive through town.
The Chai tea was good, but just basic. Felt small for the price, but then, everything is going up in price. The two things to watch for is that there isn't a lot of parking, so be aware if it's busy, you might have trouble. And inside, they have these tiny little chairs that can be super uncomfortable, so maybe choose a bench instead. Overall a neat little place, but at a glance, nothing stood out to me as unique. But a lot of people seem to come to study or just chill for a bit.
Could've been a great experience but I guess the staff has their favorite customers and they can skip over people standing in line. We just were there, waiting for two customers in front of us to be taken care of. Some big white dude comes by a little later and stands besides us and we approach the cashier at the same time and she takes care of him. Sad. What's the point of a freaking line? Coffee is ok. They don't have almond milk but carry all other hipster emo milks.
A place I could visit every day. Staff is super friendly and sweet. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere makes you feel safe and at home. A great place to journal, read, or work on school. I wish I could put pinewood in my pocket to carry to all the other cities I visit. Vegetarian options: Vegan milk choices
I don’t know where to talk about this issue. I know this coffee shop probably the most favorite coffee shop in Waco but I WISH PLEASE help your customers to get a proper parking space. I live in that neighborhood, for more than 3 times I almost got hit because I really can’t clearly see upcoming traffic from the other side. That is public road and customers can’t just park between the side of the road. Seriously, you need to think of getting a parking space for your business.
