Pinewood Lodge Campground

About

Come camp in America's Hometown, Plymouth, MA.

Description

Pinewood Lodge Campground is nestled in 200 acres of white pine forest. There are 300 beautifully shaded sites, some in secluded tenting areas and others with full facilities for almost any size rig. We are located on a 50-acre fresh water lake. The campground boasts over 3,000 feet of lake frontage as well as a six-acre island. The waterfront is great for bass fishing, swimming, and boating. Our camp store has bait and tackle as well as rental rowboats and canoes. The store has many items available for your convenience including wood, ice, and groceries. We also have many camping supplies that you may have forgotten at home.

If you would like the chance to get away and enjoy the great outdoors without having to rough it, Pinewood Lodge has everything you need. We have modern rest room facilities with hot showers and laundry, a security patrol for your peace of mind, and on-site R.V. parts and service if you have problems with your trailer or motorhome. We also have a snack bar and lounge if you don't feel like cooking at all. You may decide to join in some of the activities and events at the park or just relax around your campfire.

My family really enjoyed this campground! The campground is huge, the sites are nicely spaced apart, most of the campground is wooded and there is plentiful shade. The fishing pond was well stocked for catch and release, the lake was great for swimming and the beach was clean. My kids found many other kids to play with on the playground too. The bathrooms were clean and the laundry was small but clean. The only negative is .25 cents for showers not sure how long but we used our RV. The proximity to Plymouth attractions including the beach cannot be beat. Definitely a gem of a campground.
This past weekend I took my son to Pinewood Lodge for his first camping trip. We couldn’t be happier with the facilities and staff at the campground! Pinewood is the perfect family campground offering a variety of sites for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors. We will most definitely be coming back!Service: 5/5
I LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND .this campground is great all the seasonal are friendly and the staff. all the staff I had meet were so nice The ponds so nice to cool down And for some fishing. The security/ maintenance is great a especially craige,Brian, dawn and Aaron . The maintenance such good care of this park .the Merch is so nice and comfortable here the store has such a wide variety I love it.The parks are so entertaining also I love how there's always something to keep all of us entertained. THANK YOU PINEWOOD LODGE Nearby activities: Thereis a lot of entertainment
Living super close, I wanted to check this place out to bring my nieces and nephew to camp out. Since I was riding a bicycle, the 2 women helping me explained they wanted to ask the woman on the phone. When she got off, she addressed the question with a rude scoff of a laugh, and exasperation…super annoyed…. In front of 2 other employees- setting such a negative and rude example of how it’s ok to talk to potential visitors?? Are you kidding me? Such a nasty taste in my mouth. I explained no biggie, I’ll come back in car. But, no. I won’t. Whoever I dealt with needs to learn some manners. So many other beautiful options!
We rented a camper and stayed for one week at this beautiful campground. You'll find spacious sites, friendly staff and a large beach with a lake to swim and fish in. The beautiful scenery and easy access to cities like Boston and Salem made this the perfect spot for us! Just be sure to bring lots of bug spray!Service: 5/5
Perfect campground for all of your needs !!! They have 2 playgrounds for the children, basket ball court, horseshoe, cornhole, and a beach with a doc that you can swim in and do kayak rentals !!! They have a small but not so small store for anything that you forget to bring on your camping trip, literally anything. It was our first trip to this spot this year and we definitely will be going back. Me and my husband usually go to Wampatuk Campground in Hingham but Pinewood Lodge beats Wampatuk by far !!! Keep in mind that this is a very kids friendly campground so if you’re looking for less family/kid oriented campgrounds this one might not be the one for you.
This past weekend we visited our friends here in transit. Let's just say NONE of us will be back...6 campers with over 50 of us in total to this Natzi-ran place! Between the rude seasonals, overgrown trails to the bathrooms, the 9pm GTFO rule, God forbid you're sitting around your fire burning out with a few people! If it's 12 midnight watch out cuz their coming with their fire hose to rain on your camping parade! One of the workers named Craig let us all all stay past 9 pm without overnight passes because we gave him money. The next day he comes back and tells us because he got into trouble by his superiors he couldn't do that again the next night. When we asked where our money was then for the night before since it wasn't allowed he told us to deal with the office. So we tried buying overnight passes so we wouldn't have to deal with a 9pm curfew but we were told Transit guests couldn't purchase them. Very confusing and alot of miscommunication. Needless to say if you're visiting beware..at 9 pm Officer Doofy comes around on his golf cart with his flashlight and starts checking everyone's license plates and tags. Ridiculous we pay enough money to use your place not to mention how disgusting the pond is and we have to be out at 9 because the Granny's need their sleep or maybe the bears?
Complain when u have a 6 inch speaker on is crazy an never had no one ask oh how's ur stay or nothing . Supposed to be a friendly environment an nope u get looked down on its ok I'll spend my money else where next year I do this every year an tried this place not good if u wanna jam an have a good time with ur family I should have stayed home . Only playin old rock so it's appropriate. An mind u it was only 6pm
This is a staple for our family. My wife grew up going here and we are continuing that tradition. We love the amenities and we come every year multiple times. Keep doing what you're doing and the prices are reasonable Playground: Pinewood Lodge campground offers two playground areas Restrooms: The restrooms are typically well kept Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed in most areas except near beach, Lodge and on the beach
We've been coming to Pinewood for years & years. We used to come with several families when the kids were younger, and they always had the best time. Now it's just the adults and we are still loving it. We used to camp in a pop-up and are new RV'ers. We do not have any issues with the roads or getting into spots. Last year our site sewer had a clog & staff was there in minutes to fix it. Very friendly staff - easy check-in process, fun store with Ice Cream. Make sure you get a Pinewood Raspberry Lime Rickey! Great new dog park, that our pup loves. Gives her a chance to run without a leash. We have been coming here once, twice or more times a year for 14 years and never had a bad site or bad experience.
