We took our three children out for the two and a half hour tour with Dan and it was awesome! It was SO bumpy and we were cracking up bouncing around in the jeep. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and filled us in on both the geology and history of the area. The view from the top was beautiful and Dan took lots of great pictures for us. Bring water for day trips and wear clothes as if you are hiking. It was toasty.
We were unsure if we wanted to do this excursion. We afraid that it might be a tourist trap. We were definitely mistaken! We did the Broken Arrow tour and Doug was our guide. Doug was so AWESOME! He has been leading excursions for 11 years and is extremely knowledgeable. Also very funny and entertaining! We were able to see parts of the land that we would have never been able to see if we didn't go on the excursion. Everything was absolutely breathtaking! A couple of tips: The ride was definitely pretty bumpy in several places along the way. So be prepared for that. Wear tennis shoes. There are 2 stops that in order to fully experience all of the views you will have to do very minimal hiking. Bring water! They have water on board, but only to refill water bottles that you bring. If you're on the fence or worried about the price, you should absolutely go! Worth every penny!
This is our second tour this week with Pink Jeeps and our 1st trip with Lori. 10 out of 10, we do recommend. She is well versed on the local culture, routes, trails, and history. She also educated the group with scientific knowledge of all landscape’s surrounding each stop. Our favorite fact about Lori - she is very respectful of the indigenous culture. She painted a positive picture of their history and shared facts straight from the source. Her vehicle was spotless, she provided lunch, endless water bottles, a cooling towel, door to door service, and jokes. What a pleasant time going to and from the Grand Canyon. See you next trip!
The tour was AMAZING and a bit scary. Our tour guide was hilarious and had a great sense of humor. He told us lots of funny stories the whole time which kept us entertained on the more normal parts of the tour. The tour itself was great, there were tons of bumpy parts and few pretty scary moments where you're pretty sure you're about to die. Overall the tour was super fun and so worth it.
Our family had a great time on the Scenic Rim/Brown Arrow tour. It was very bumpy but the seats are really cushy, so no back pain. Chris, our guide, was really great. He was full of fun and interesting facts and had a hilarious sense of humor that kept us laughing the whole time. Chris took photos of each group in a couple of places and had some great tricks up his sleeve for creative shots. We definitely got the adventure that we paid for and highly recommend this as a great way to see the red rocks and experience the back country of Sedona!
Made a last-minute decision to do the pink tour on our last day of our vacation. We booked the Broken Arrow tour, which was supposedly bumpy and a fun ride for kids. Check-in was a breeze, and our tour guide Rick was exceptional. For two hours, he guided us with the history, current situation at Sedona, red rocks, and nature. The ride was bumpy, and the step ladder was an incredible experience. Anyone visiting Sedona must try the experience. Worth it!!
Pretty much got to take a private tour because was late to our original tour. So that worked out great. Our tour guide was great a lot of helpful information about tour an also had good advice on other things to do around town. I recommend Chris he was great. Wasn’t to trilled about the whole trip but once I did it I really enjoyed it. Views, weather, an atmosphere was amazing!! I’ll post a pic that Chris took for me!!
HIGHLY recommend!! I wish I could remember the name of our tour guide. He did an absolutely smashing job of pointing out facts and being our photographer. This was such a memorable experience.
My son and I took two tours on back-to-back days. On the first day, we took the Grand Canyon tour from Sedona. Our guide, Lori, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She lead us through our day, made sure everyone was happy and we saw several perspectives of the Grand Canyon. We had nine people on the tour in a sprinter van, and it was very comfortable. We made plenty of stops for drinks and bathroom breaks. On day two, we took the Broken Arrow tour with Glenn. He was also fabulous, attentive, and made sure we saw the backroads we would not have experienced. Amazing red rock views. Thanks for the great experiences!!
I recently went on a Pink Jeep tour and had a great experience. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They shared interesting facts and stories throughout the tour, making it both educational and enjoyable. However, I must warn you that the tour can be quite bumpy at times. So, it's important to hang tight and be prepared for some rough terrain. Overall, I highly recommend the Pink Jeep tour for those looking for an exciting and informative adventure.
