The staff are great. Here's my problem there is one receptionist with a raspy voice who seems like she always has an attitude that I don't care for. When your dealing with people who have a mental health condition you should speak to them with respect and she doesn't.. it's not what she says it's how she says things and I've had 2 run ins with this lady already so that's why I'm posting this. The company could do so much better without her as I said it seems like she answer with an attitude and talks with an attitude as if she has no respect for patients at all. Besides that I love the other staff. I love how they get you in quickly. I love how I was so welcomed when I was new to them and I never felt judged. . Management please get rid of that receptionist she clearly doesn't understand how to treat people.
Terrible nurse! She was the least friendly nurse I have ever dealt with. She doesn't seem to have empathy or knowledge of medications. She didn't listen well. She was argumentative. She didn't list to my concerns. She left me in a dangerous situation. Run, don't walk away!
Best people ever .. "Kind and caring professionals" is a low blow description. I REALLY appreciate everyone with whom I have met! I've been through several clinics for my severe chronic clinical depression+, and have never had anything like a list of wonderful people, or felt anything like the amazing care, attention, and compassion that I'm being given at PBH. I feel I am in the best possible place I could be to treat my mental health concerns and am so grateful for that. Thank you PBH! Thank you team, you're amazing; I appreciate you all so very much! Best place due to best people, ever!
This is probably the best medical and psychiatric experience I’ve ever had. CNP Fatuma was easy to talk to and connect with. She didn’t force me to share things about my past, as others have, and I feel she truly listened to my concerns. It’s a blessing to meet a medical professional who let’s their humanity and kindness shine through their interactions. I’m really looking forward to working with her and getting know her as I navigate this life journey. Having someone who you feel comfortable with truly makes a difference. I hope all people dealing with mental health get an opportunity to meet someone like CNP Fatuma. We’ve only had one interaction and it was a blessing.
Pinnacle behavioral healthcare is by far the worst place to seek if you actually need help. They do way more harm than help. They have completely destroyed my quality of life. From uneducated, disrespectful staff to the drs' and nurses is a complete failure to mental health system. Stay especially far away from Dr. Awasika also known as Dr. K and his nurse. There is currently a malpractice/ethics lawsuit in process against Dr. K and the entire clinic. Do not believe their lies and cover ups. This clinic will be shut down very soon so don't waist your time there. So many better Dr's and clinics out there that actually will help you. Stay far away.
This has been by far the best experience I’ve had at the doctors. Every time I have called to schedule or change an appointment, someone has answered right away — at my primary care clinic, I expect to wait at least 30 minutes before someone picks up, so this was pleasantly surprising. The psychiatrist that I saw Dr. Russ took great care of me too — she took everything I had to say and my concerns seriously, and she was very kind. I felt really comfortable talking to her.
The staff especially Holly are wonderful! I was anxious after my first experience was a little rocky but Holly put my nerves at ease with her fun and calming personality. She is flexible and attentive and always has a fun story to share. The rooms have nice views and comfy chairs for a pleasant experience. Only critique is rarely I have to share the room with another patient.
My wife is diagnosed with Autism, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, depression, and anxiety to name a few. Needless to say, to get her the proper help we have spent time with COUNTLESS doctors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. This has been the worst place we've had to deal with BY FAR. The desk associates seem to not know what's going on, billing is always confused ?, and our nurse practitioner Fatuma was quite possibly the worst person I've had to deal with in the medical field. My wife was sent to her after being hospitalized for suicidal actions, and our initial visit was Fatuma describing the signs/effects of autism to my wife...who has been living on the spectrum for 27 years, and had all the documentation from former evaluations. It was condescending, redundant, and useless information. Following this, we had telehealth meetings with her, some of which needed to be rescheduled due to my wife having anxiety and panic attacks....they seemed unwilling to be flexible with us. On another telehealth call Fatuma insisted on asking my wife how she is feeling, and my wife having obvious problems pinpointing emotions/feelings was unable to answer the question. Fatuma ended the call abruptly, and told us to find another location to assist us. Just about the worst place you could go when you are needing help with your mental health; all it did was waste time and money, and it agitated someone who was already going through a rough patch in life.
The therapist do an amazing job. The receptionist are super nice. The billing department sucks. They don't know how to bill and you can never talk to someone who knows what's going on. I guess those that work in billing have no clue what they are going. I believe it is only 2 a guy who claims to be new all the time and clueless. A female in charge, but you can't talk to her, she is always to bust. She may not even be real. Not sure
Don’t risk your mental health. 26 emails/msgs asking for appointments and cries of “help me I’m not coping” resulted in 10 appointments that were actually kept. I have missed time at work for appointments that are often cancelled same day or last minute. Horribly unresponsive, borderline neglectful. On the other hand they will refill all your meds no problems.
