Words cannot describe the gratitude my husband and I have for Dr. Sonia. From the beginning of our beloved Maggio's diagnosis of osteosarcoma on July 3 to when she came to our home yesterday to assist him across the rainbow bridge, we don't even have the words. We were those dog parents that called with questions , and questions, and questions... She would always return our calls and provide us with answers. She even called at 7:30 in the morning once and 6:00pm another time. We are so blessed our beautiful boy was under her loving and kind care. Thank you. This is going to take us all, including Angelo, our other Aussie who was present at Maggio's passing, a while, if not forever to grieve. We will remember the happy silly things he did. Like how excited he got when the Bark Box arrived. We will also never forget your kindness and the support of your staff.
We love Dr. Sonya Laverne! She’s wonderful Thoughtful, care for our dogs. I highly recommend pinnacle Valley Animal Hospital
Great practice. The Lavergnes go above and beyond, calling to check on my dog when she has something complicated going on. Dr. Sonya has worked with me to keep my extremely fearful dog's visits short, kind, and efficient while still being thorough. Did a great job diagnosing her, too. I haven't known Dr. Rene as long, but I've known Dr. Sonya for many years and she's the best diagnostician I've encountered in Little Rock.
The two stars is strictly cause of Dr. Lavergne. We followed her from Hillcrest clinic. She was helpful with our epileptic Great Dane. And don’t want to leave her but after our last visit here I’m not sure. We have 3 Great Danes, all behave well. Came to our appt to have the yearly shots, and upon arrival the two girls working the front desk looked at us, me and my husband and our 3 Great Danes, and I kid you not, rolled their eyes and looked at each. Like what heck?? Our dogs acted good. And our bill was over $1000 and we get eye rolls?? I don’t understand. The blonde barely looked at me and dark haired eye roller acted like we were an annoyance. It hurt my feelings honestly. Now the assistant was very nice in the room with the doc. If it wasn’t for our epileptic Dane and Dr. Lavergne, I’d be outta there. Might anyways.
If I could do 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service. I called about a week ago and was left on hold for nearly 30 minutes. The prices have sky rocketed for basic appointments, and the male vet was very rude. However the female vet was very pleasant and understanding. I hope she takes the leadership role in this business. After being a strong supporting customer for nearly 15 years, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I should’ve figured something was wrong when all of the original vets and staff left. The staff that was there before this “take over” was caring and knew pets well. It’s sad to see what this place has become. Also to ownership: When you “merge” with a company the least you can do is send an email letting us know that everything is being switched over to new ownership. This felt like slapping the name of West Rock on Pinnacle Valley Animal Hospital. When really it’s just West Rock taking over.
So helpful and caring! When my 20 year old cat was dying I called upset and they said come in now and helped my cat pass and let me cry and stay as long as I wanted with him. The emotional support was amazing for me. The doctor was so understanding.
Dropped off my cat for a procedure which did not go well!! Was shocked at the bill when we picked her up and questioned it and was told it was correct was almost double what we thought. Still didn’t believe it was correct when I got home and spoke with someone else and was told that they raised their prices when they moved locations. Told them that they were losing a customer to which she replied “OK” . When my wife got home she looked over the bill and thought $312 for Amoxicillin seemed way too much. Turns out they over charged us by 13 times and had to refund us $285. If either of those 2 employees I spoke to had even tried they could easily have caught this. They were very rude and unhelpful and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to avoid them!!
My fur baby being a chihuahua and not a nice one needed his nails cut and they took him in all open arms without a muzzle I was very impressed
I called four times to schedule an appointment, and was put on hold twice once for 10 minutes the next time for 14 minutes The young lady told me she forgot about me so sorry. Okay perhaps they were busy. I hung up both times. Third time I called, I finally got through to make an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for Friday for a bath. When I showed up I was told they were busy and if I could come back tomorrow. What? I Ask for Dr Laverne, I was told he was in surgery. I then asked for him to call me when available. No phone call Friday. No call Saturday! No call Monday! I called and asked to speak to him again not available! Left message for return call. No return call. I called his wife at the other office to leave a message. Still no return call! I say all of that to say this! After the transition..., everything seems to have gone to hell!! Horrible customer service!!
My pup saw Kim for grooming, and we were highly impressed. She treated him with kindness, and she groomed him well. Very pleased!
