What a great store in the heart of Beverly Hills! I needed some keys made and ended up picking up some light bulbs, batteries and some paint for my back fence. Great service and what a selection, and they had a buy 3 get one free coupon that I used from Google.Thank you Pioneer Hardware!
Loved this place for several reasons: it's open for shopping with a mask, they had the special broom I searched hard for, I got personal service from a person knowing the layout and contents of store who actually climbed a ladder at least a couple of times to retrieve an item, the store was entertaining since there were an assortment of other things interesting to have. Some parking, not many spaces.
Outstanding selection and reasonable prices, all of which seems surprising given this store's Beverly Hills location tucked away on Crescent Drive. The inventory of electrical and plumbing parts exceeds that of many chain hardware stores. There's a great lock and key-making shop too. High-end and/or last-minute picnic and party items abound, as do practical household items intended, perhaps, for the nearby community of elders/retirees.
I will never shop at this store again. I understand mark up for a small business but everything I was there for was 300% higher than other hardware stores. Customer service was OK but I would expect a personal shopper for that price. Then the response I got was to dispute my numbers and question my exaggeration. So I responded with this... First, I didn't purchase the dimmer. You are charging $49 for a 3 way dimmer that is $17 At Home Depot. I purchase this dimmer on a pretty regular basis and was short one dimmer so I thought I would shop local rather than the box store. Not only was the same item way over retail for Home Depot I went to Anawaly lumber and bought the exact same dimmer for $29, still more than home depot but a far cry from your stores pricing. So your right, I over exaggerated your price being 300%, it was more like 295% higher than Home Depot and still 60% higher than your nearest local competitor. Maybe if you had responded to my request to speak with a manager at the store as quicy as you tried to discredit me this could have been resolved In the store.
Great store! You can find anything you need. The staff is professional and friendly. They even offer handyman services! Shout out to Jeff for helping me.
I have lived in Beverly Hills for 11 years now from Minneapolis. This little gem of a hardware store is of tester year with al the modern merchandise. Really, it has everything from Rolls Royce Picnic baskets to light bulbs & tape. Paint to place matts & napkins of good taste & nothing more than helpful. I stop in just to pick up a birthday card or glassware or glue.. Great for a last minute gift as well. I am please there is a neighborhood hardware store thats also easy to park next to. Love this store Tina Hillstrom
The ladies working the counter are so awesome I wish I could find an excuse to go there every day. Just for the short time you are inside the store you actually forget your in uber stuffy BH. See y'all soon.
