Very nice place for gatherings or just hanging out enjoying nature. Had a lunch for our High School reunion & had lots of space. Good bathrooms & picnic area. People enjoyed having their dogs as well.
Quiet little weekday park, my three year old liked playground and trails. There are no spaces in the grass that have shade to sit but there are some spaces with tables and benches that are covered in shade. Plenty of space for BBQs and parties.
Great park! It has an exceptional perimeter trail alongside fenced property that seasonally has goats & occasionally a couple of horses. Dogs welcome all the scents, sights, & sounds. Generally quiet & peaceful on weekdays while weddings, graduation parties, & corporate picnics tend to be on weekends. There's both a bandstand area & a playground with climbing activities. Camping is by reservation.
Nice park kinda out of the way nice to walk your dog or just hang out the horseshoe pits are good the bathroom is not that great it's just a Porta potty nice play ground for kids and decent bbqing areas
We love Pioneer Park. I always attend for Military nonprofit events. They have a wonderful bbq area, restrooms and play area for the kids. The kids can also watch planes and helicopters land at the Airport across the road. We held our event there for Welcome Home Military Heroes. We used the large parking lot to stage our “Veteran Vehicle Salute.”
Catholic Church - St Louis de Montfort had a great Mass and Lunch. It's a long time since we last had a Fun time at Pioneer park. We had at least 400 people and everyone was very happy.
Had a great time, checking out all the rides, at the mad bombers car show..
Excellent park for reunions, social functions, small and large group gatherings! There are several pavilions availiable with terrific bbq facilities! There are baseball diamonds and various play areas for the children. Walks, hiking, bicycling are also obvious activities to take part in. I had a kite with me and had more space than I could have hoped for to fly it. The restrooms as with all their facilities are clean & tidy. What I feel was most enjoyable. Was the very pristine variety of naturescapes and vast area all in one park! The positive and relaxing mood overtakes you immediately! I don't know exactly how many acres the park sits on but I know it is easily more than a dozen. To find privacy and seclusion from a park right in the middle of a bustling community is few and far between these days. Plenty of picnic tables. Everything is well cared for. All kinds of birds happily chirping. Clear open grassy and meadowy areas as well as lots and lots and lots of trees and wooded areas too. There are plenty of cared for trails and paths. And there is ample parking as well. If you have any opportunity to visit. Be sure to go...
Small playground, but plenty of parking, set up for large gatherings. Restrooms: Closed when we were there
Not sure why rest rooms aren't open but great park
