I go here almost every day to ride my bike and it's nothing short of amazing. There's a large hill to go down, and another very steep off-trail one that use a lot. Highly recomend, but don't use the hill too much! :
Beautiful facility which includes 3 baseball fields/football fields 1, a double gym, an outdoor pool, 4 tennis courts, a playground, a community center, a basketball court, and plenty of pick nick tables and outdoor space.
Any and every park gets a 5 from me but Pioneer Park is a cheesecake slice of Americana, baseball and football fields, Olympic pool and tennis courts. Walking paths are plenty, but try walking on the grass. You will enjoy it more. Get some green in your eyes.
Great place for families. Has a little bit of everything.
Kids loved the pool... LOVE the fact they have a separate place for babies to enjoy themselves.... Didn't give it a 5 because the slide was closed and they were all sold of snacks and the nachos they had were NASTY
Great park with outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, baseball fields and room for several soccer/football fields. There is also an indoor gym with several studios for park district classes.
Wow. I love this park. There is so many things to do. Best to come during the summer. There is also pk3-4 programs and a pool. Many sports and a nice park. Truly awesome. Only reason its not a 5 because its truly only spectacular 3-4 months of the year. Otherwise its good. 4/5
Plenty of room to play. 4 baseball fields in great condition. Fields are used for area teams practices and games. Check with the park before using. Field house has nice basketball courts. Currently, pool is only open to reservations for lap swimming. Tennis courts are typically full.
They have a great indoor facility featuring dance classes, 2 indoor basketball courts, and other rooms. They also have a very spacious park with multiple baseball fields, tennis courts, and a playground featuring swings. Finally, they have a pool run by the park district so the pool passes work here.
Whether you are coming for your child to take an art or recreation class or for yourself with a swim lesson or just to shoot hops, you will always find the desk service welcoming and respectful along with the facility being clean.
