Pioneer Point is located on the east shore of picturesque
Buckhorn Lake, a part of the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Operating from May through early October, Pioneer
Point features a variety of activities and full service sites to
meet your vacation requirements, and its proximity to the
towns of Buckhorn (10 minutes) and Lakefield (15 minutes)
provides easy access to shop and explore.
Relax by one of our two heated pools, stroll along our
maintained beach or host an event at the community
recreation hall or outdoor pavilion. Featuring amenities
and activities perfect for family members of all ages,
Pioneer Point allows you to enjoy tennis courts, sports
fields and a 9-hole chipping course to practice your swing!
At Pioneer Point, water is the main attraction! From fishing

It's a seasonal, mobile park, so the rooms are what you make of them, lol. The grounds are well maintained, and there's something to do for people of all ages. Booze bingo, horseshoes, a pool, beach, volleyball, euchre, chicken wing cookoff, basketball/pickleball/tennis/shuffleboard courts. Bonus: great fishing!
Very clean, safe place to visit. My daughter and her family own a cottage here, lots of activities for my grandsons, swimming in the pool and lake, fishing, a great playground and every site has a campfire spot. I had a fantastic time.

My family just had our first summer here at Pioneer point resort. We absolutely love it. !!!! Lots of things for kids to do and adults. Very clean , love the beach the pools all the amenities this park has to offer. But most of all is the people very friendly, welcomed us with open arms its like being part of a big happy family.. If your looking for a place to call home away from home this is your Park to be in. Look forward to 2019 ,!!!!. The Chalapenko family!!!!
Great place to have a summer trailer park is well taken care of. The beach is fantastic very clean the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has really good food and reasonably priced. Lots of activities for the kids during the weekends. Special events are well planned. And the people in the park you meet are great Love spending time at the park
This mobile park is absolutely beautiful. Lots of sunny / shady areas. Beach is lovely Pool ×2 one adult and of course 1× kiddos
13th year at Pioneer and though there have been many changes over the past few years, the changes have been improvements despite some changes being conveniences that were removed/discontinued. The grounds are well kept, laundry and public washrooms have always been in pristine condition. There is both a sense of community among residents, as well as privacy. The heated adult pool makes for pleasurable swimming. Beach is great. Noise level is low.
Great place to be with your family. The park has a lot of amenities check online and weekly planned events. Everyone is very friendly and there are many kids around for your young ones to make new friends. There are more good things to say but I'm burnt out from having too much fun today.
Family friendly trailer park. Great lake and some amenities, including an adults only and kids heated pools. Recently added some new docks and sea doo slips, but frequent changes in park management have led to inconsistent quality of park maintenance.
Close drive from east side of Toronto. Park has a few rules very friendly staff and residents. Nice amenities . Lots of open space for kids to play. Two pools now open.
