Had two different rock deliveries, and both were great. The drivers were able to dump in the specific areas I needed, which was soooo helpful. Both were professional, friendly, on time. I appreciate the text messages letting the customer know they're on their way.
Customer service is friendly, clear and easy to understand the process of delivery. My only problem is that the rock was so dirty when it was delivered that we couldn't tell what rock it was and we had to do an excessive amount of washing which makes us feel like we paid for a lot of weight in dirt. They delivered the right stuff and we would buy from them again but definitely disappointed in the one area. Posted pics to show how it was delivered vs after we washed it.
Josh was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole process so smooth and easy! Love these guys!
The individual who took my order over the phone, Daniel/Ryan, one of those, told me the driver would call when he left the with my material. The driver, Ronnie, did not call, and he arrived an hour early while I was in the middle of prepping the space. Ronnie claimed he had no idea he was supposed to call, and that I should take it up with whoever I spoke with on the phone. He also said he couldn't wait around for me to prep my space because he has to "keep going," and asked me if I wanted the material another day instead, which was a silly question. Ultimately, I had to have the material dumped in an inopportune location rather than where I had planned, and I had to move it myself. I called later and spoke to Daniel who said he would discuss it with his manager. I haven't heard anything since. Drivers and dispatchers are not on the same page policy-wise, and it made for a poor customer experience.
I have used Pioneer for dirt and gravel deliveries in the past and have always been pleased. I stumbled over to their physical location today when in search of some flagstone pavers. I was a definite fish out of water, and the entire staff could not have been more helpful. In fact, I think 6 different employees helped me through the whole process and I walked away a very happy customer. Thank you all so much for making not feel like a weirdo today!
My husband and I have been going to this Aurora location for many years! This last yard project has been a doozy. Lots of heavy flagstone. Our first two trips there we loaded up our truck ourselves. The third time a nice redheaded young man came out and asked if we wanted help! I replied “YES please”. What a big help he was! He looks like a 100 lb lanky young man a wet noodle, but to my surprise he is very strong and can really lift those flag stone! I was shocked! I asked his name and he replied Gin…I mean Ryan. I asked him to repeat what he said….Well, come to find out his name is Ryan but everyone calls him “Gingy”. I see why…his hair is like fire in the sun and his glistening hair on his legs when he wears those short shorts. Anyway, Ryan is such a nice young man and was so very helpful! Thank you so much for employing great people! Also, kudos to a very nice gentleman named John! Class acts!
Friendly staff, a lot of good products, pretty easy to get in and out but for the start of the day when all the landscapers are lined up, I knocked out a pretty sweet backyard update using their squeegee and red flagstone. Turned out great.
My pup and I both love our new turf backyard! The customer service from everyone at both the rock and turf shops, the delivery, quality of the products, and prices all exceeded my expectations! The store manager Josh and his staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in putting together the materials I needed, giving advice/planning for the install, and scheduling the delivery around my schedule. I'll use these guys for any landscaping needs I have moving forward. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Ordered 8 tons of gravel to be delivered from Pioneer Landscape. Had a great experience with Nathan dropping off our order. Nathan was professional and made our drop off super easy, especially being in a residential neighborhood . Thank you Nathan and Pioneer for all of your help!
It's been years since I've needed supplies from pioneer... well.. customer service is simply spectacular!! Got there 15 min b4 closed time... all 4 employees were smiles and acted like shift just began... they all answered my questions, gave me information, even walked me outside to look at and educate me on rocks I want/ needed... I'm positive that if I placed my order... that they wouldn't have rushed me... I'll return in morning with my wish list...
