Pippin Contemporary, founded by artist Aleta Pippin, located in the heart of the historic Canyon Road art district in Santa Fe, NM shows contemporary art that is fresh and vibrant, as well as collectible, adhering to its tagline of a “sensory experience of color and mood”.
Pippin Contemporary was founded in 2011 in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Lincoln Avenue one block from the Historic Plaza. In 2013, Pippin relocated to the foot of the historic Canyon Road art district. In 2015, Aleta Pippin purchased the building at 409 Canyon Road with 3600 square feet of viewing space as well as 1000 feet of sculpture garden, unusually large for the Canyon Road arts district.
True to the gallery tagline of a “a sensory experience of color and mood”, Pippin's artists are selected for their energetic and tactile expressions and present a range of personal perspectives expressed through their art. Those expressions range from original paintings in vibrant colors to sculpture in stone, metal and glass, bronze, and kinetic.
