Pirates Cove at Port Charlotte High School

At best a mediocre education. I used to attend Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High Scgool but now attend here. It’s honestly quite pitiful. You’re either in smart classes or you’re not AP=Smart, Honors/Gen. Ed.=Everyone Else. The classes are a joke and just further prove why we need to fix the education system. I don’t want to blame individual teachers/administrators however they don’t exactly help make the school or education system better. We don’t learn a lot and what we do learn are things we learned from middle school. Another thing that’s just nonsensical is for a decent amount of the faculty to push politically left ideologies while teaching their class, regardless of its relevance. It’s quite hard to socially be a conservative let alone in a school such as this. The kids aren’t that great either but there’s not a lot you can do about that. The school doesn’t like to enforce the rules very much, kids skip and leave campus all the all the time for lunch and such and there’s not any consequences. There’s also a lot illegal drugs and “street pharmacists” as I like to call them. The school system at least in Charotte County anyway would rather suspend the student rather then press charges or get the law involved of which is completely unacceptable. I’m not saying it’s better than any other school but I think all the public high schools the education system are all equally bad. They tend to cater to the quite frankly dumb kids and dumb down the entire education system on account of their stupidity.

it was a great school in the perfect town. the people that helped me were Bailey Pashotown because she was a great friend and Will Montgomery. im a junior at Lafayette Jefferson high school and its great I hope I can see port charlotte high school again and my two friends also. thanks for the experience even though it was three years ago. Not going to mention names on those who screwed me. But I will mention the great wonderfull people their who had helped me all that they could to aim for my g.e.d honestly to any and all students. Take it from me,who been threaten and used at the school. Drop out and better yourself at the pc mall cause all They will do is either ruined or help. But it just not right!

Class of 2010 here, and the staff truly care at this school. The other students were generally pleasant to be around as well.

My son transferred from NP & likes the faculty and kids. The faculty is very willing to help. We’re a pleased family

this school is better than charlotte i went to port charlotte for 1 year and i had a blast there the school is way better then charlotte i am at charlotte now and i hate it

bad school they dont help you with anything i had a bad experience in this school i would give them no stars but it wont let me post if i dont rate

This is where the scum of Charlotte County attend. Uneducation, poor, and unhygenic students. Chs 10x better
