We stayed here one night on our way up highway 1 and I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was wonderful and very spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable and plentiful. The pool was great and heated. The play area was wonderful. The continental breakfast was good and I really appreciated that it was served rather than self-serve to minimize germs and that the serving staff were wearing masks. It was also only a short walk to the beach. The only complaint was that the walls were thin as I saw another reviewer mention and therefore you could hear people walking above and around you throughout the night. Overall I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Very kid friendly, spacious suite room and great view if you get an oceanfront. Only downfall as is in all the hotels here are the walls/windows are thin so you hear everything including those above you walking etc- but definitely would stay here again. Good continental breakfast, playground for kids. And the front desk staff were very nice and accommodating with requests.
Best hotel in Pismo!! We stayed here for our anniversary. I booked a family room which is very spacious for a family of 5. When I booked the reservation I added on the “additional request” that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. On the day of our reservation I received a call in the morning to confirm our stay and what kind of wine did we prefer. Wife was really surprised and happy! Definitely recommend it to anyone!! Great staff, kid friendly and pool is very warm. Thank you Pismo Lighthouse Suite staff!!
Family suites are the best if you are coming with kids. Lots of space and lots option to play around hotel area. People are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is good but could be better. Swimming area is kind good but missing of a rest area. Overall good for a holiday stay.
This is our favorite place to stay when visiting the central coast. The rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated, and the ocean view rooms are great with spectacular wide views and give you a relaxing sound of the waves and pelicans and Gulls flying by your balconies.the morning free breakfast is good with the usual selection of items. It’s only a three minute drive to the Pismo Pier and restaurants.
WHAT A SPOT!!! Gorgeous view, and just off the beaten path of crowded Pismo… has a wonderful walkway connecting a bunch of other hotels, that also brings you right down to the water! Pelicans galore! Whales oh my! AND I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE STAFF!!!! Serenity and Kaylee really stood out to me, but I also noted their manager Eric to be phenomenal too. Serenity and Kaylee were so friendly and kind and really made my time there very special! I very much look forward to staying again!!!
The staff was welcoming, rooms were very clean which is always a plus. The complimentary breakfast was . We asked for extra blankets and they were delivered to us within minutes. I will recommend that you park under the carport to avoid seagull / pelican bombs. I strongly recommend Lighthouse for family vaca fun.Rooms: 5/5
Our room was huge and they offered a blanket bowl and treats for our little dog. I loved being on the first floor and having access to the grass right outside our room for our little guy to run around. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were very attentive and great. The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi was not working consistently.
Perfect staycation with kids! We only live about 45 minutes down the road but decided to have a little staycation while my husband worked on some projects at home. My kid loves the playground, games, heated pool, and the tide pools and caves right below the hotel on the beach. Only downside was a smelly pack of pelicans that came by in the morning, but my son loved seeing them up close and counts that as another plus:
I could not be happier with our stay here. I'm going to start with the negatives because there aren't many: -no direct beach access. You have to walk two hotels over and down a massive flight of stairs to get to the beach. It isn't that far unless you have to lug a lot of things -there are no fire pits or chairs overlooking the ocean. There are a few chairs way off to the side -there rooms that are next to the freeway are very loud and it was hard to sleep Other than that, this hotel was practically perfect. Free breakfast, free parking, free wifi, even the smallest rooms are double the size of what a regular room is, there are so many nice amenities for families and children, the service is impeccable, and there was someone cleaning something everywhere we looked. We will definitely be back!
