Pittsford Dental Excellence/Dr. Guarnieri is by far the best dentist I have ever had. When I visit the office, I feel like the Dr. and staff genuinely care about me; they are super friendly and take their time explaining certain things to me and they look for practical solutions to issues that I never even knew I had. They also seem to have the latest technology. I can tell they all really love their job. It's a great environment. Also, I appreciate all the safety measures they are taking due to Covid. I highly recommend Pittsford Dental Excellence and I always tell everyone I know to go there!
In need of a new dentist after returning to Rochester, I took the recommendation of a family member to try Pittsford Dental Excellence Center. I was told the staff was caring, friendly, gentle with cleanings, and always provided top-notch care - all rang true. Pittsford Dental truly cares about your well-being and are experts at what they do. For someone who had unpleasant dental experiences growing up, I no longer dread visiting the dentist thanks to Dr. Guarnieri and his staff.
As a young aspiring dentist, I have been fortunate enough to spend quality time with Dr. Guarnieri and his team. From the very first time at the office, I was made to feel comfortable and welcome both by the staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. Dr. Guarnieri is extremely knowledgeable and he goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure each patient understands what he/she should do in terms of treatment plans and procedures to ensure all future health risks are negated. He is truly caring, not only about each patients’ oral health, but their general overall well-being. I have not come across a more passionate dentist. He takes the time to provide the highest quality of care and appreciates the trust that each patient gives him. He has great rapport with everyone in the office and creates an amazing culture with his team members. The highest recommendation to Dr. Guarnieri and everyone at Pittsford Dental Excellence. I hope to one day perform dentistry to the ability of Dr. Guarnieri. He’s the best! I have been with Dr. Sam Guarnieri for years thanks to my mom who found him . Ever heard mom know best? She was right. I have had many dental procedures done prior to coming here and had many shots before my procedure and always hated waiting for that needle to go in. I had my procedure with Dr. Guarnieri and wondered when the pain would hit with that needle . I waited with anxiety and braced myself again! First dentist where I didn't even feel the needle. Good bye anxiety!!!! Not many dentists call you at home to see how you are doing. The staff is the best!!! I know I have to continue with dental procedures, but this time no anxiety waiting for pain. Thank you all.
Dr. Sam Guarnieri’s office is a hidden gem. I’ve been to the office for a very thorough consult, cleaning, crown replacement, front teeth cosmetics, and he even came in on his day off for a broken tooth. Yes, I grind my teeth, but Dr. Guarnieri is doing so much more than fixing the damage...we’re on a mission to stop the grinding. Dr. Sam loves his profession! He has a close-knit staff, consistently friendly and helpful; they are people that you want to be taking care of you. All charges are presented upfront so no surprises. Easy to find office, big parking lot, clean and comfortable waiting room with TV and drinks but I’ve never had to wait for more than 5 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Guarnieri and everyone in that office. So glad I found them!
Dr. Guarnieri is fantastic! Even though I was not a regular patient, he was more than willing to help me when I broke a tooth late on a Sunday night. I was very anxious about the whole process and he helped me to feel relaxed and comfortable. He even called me 2 days later to see how I was doing and offer his help should I need it again. I definitely recommend him to anyone, but especially those who may be nervous about going to the dentist. I plan on going to his office for all of my future dental needs.
I have been a patient of Dr. Guarnieri's for over 35 years. I have always received excellent care. Dr. Guarnieri and his staff are genuinely concerned about the overall health of their patients and always stay up to date with their medical history. I have always found that they go above and beyond. A few weeks ago, I ran out of a product that is very important in maintaining my oral health. With the office closed down, I wasn't sure how to acquire the product. I called the office and left a message, hoping that someone would check in and return my message. Dr. Guarnieri called me at home the following morning, let me know that he had received the message, and that he would stop by the office, pick up two bottles of the product and deliver it to my house, personally. When he arrived, he called to let me now that he was placing the product in my mailbox and had disinfected everything. I thanked Dr. Guarnieri and his response was, "No problem, what every you need, I am happy to do it." I feel that this level of commitment exceeds the standards of many health care providers. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Guarnieri and his entire staff. -Jody
My wife and I went in for our dental cleanings this past month and we had a great experience at Pittsford Dental Excellence Center. They took every precaution to make us feel safe during Covid-19 temperature check at the door, purell stations, face masks, face shields, social distancing, as well as just keeping the office very clean. As always, they were thorough in their cleaning and detailed when describing what was affecting my teeth. Overall, pre-Covid/post-Covid, I always have a great experience at Dr. Guarnieri's office and would recommend them.
I don’t write reviews often or at all for that matter but I just wanted to post something about my positive experiences at PDE over the past ten years. As someone who was “blessed” with needing a lot of dental work throughout most of her adult life I have become very particular on who I will now let touch my teeth anymore. I’ve seen so many doctors and dentists throughout the last twenty years with all them telling me different treatment options I needed and how they would be the “one” to solve my chronic jaw pain issues which was misdiagnosed as TMJ turns out I suffer from migraines but that’s a story for another day. Needless to say after spending a minimum of ten thousand dollars or more on a SECOND set of braces, multiple appliances and various other treatment options nothing was working and I had all but given up hope on any real relief, destined to a life of coping with pain management on OTC pain relievers. In my 30’s I moved to Rochester, NY to be with my family during my mom’s cancer treatment. She always made sure I kept up with regular dental hygiene appointments so I agreed and luckily instead of having to pick a random number out of a phonebook remember those? my little sister recommended I schedule an appointment with Dr. Guarnieri and his team. Since then I won’t go anywhere else for care unless it’s a specialist he himself stands behind. I think it’s fair in saying many people “fear” the dentist but I don’t. I fear someone who doesn’t treat the patient as an individual, someone who just has to move on to their next client. Sure I’ll say I’ve been skeptical throughout my various treatments here but as long as I’ve had someone I feel listens to me and accepts my reasons for not fully believing dentists and without being hurt by my truth my trust has developed tenfold. It’s not only Dr. Guarnieri’s work that is invaluable but his team in general. It sounds corny but I do feel like a part of their family there. People remember who I am and inquire about how life is going and where I’m living now. See that’s what makes this even harder, my husband and I work in remote parts of Alaska for the half the year and don’t technically live anywhere. Dental care here is few and far between plus in my mind non-comparable in quality sorry Alaska. I just spoke with Dr. Guarnieri today regarding a dental emergency I’m facing while still in mandatory Covid-19 quarantine in Anchorage. Unlike most doctors he is available to speak to after hours and we are working on a plan to regulate my pain as soon as possible before heading out into “the bush” where there are no dentists. Before hanging up with him this evening I made sure I mentioned how I only trust him with my mouth these days. It was not a general compliment one just throws out there in gratitude for some advice though. Like I mentioned earlier I do not write reviews so this to me was the best compliment I could give...”I only trust you”. Lucky for me the majority of my family lives in Rochester so one of my first appointments to schedule when I visit is one to Pittsford Dental Excellence Center for my cleaning with Mindy and to say hi to everyone else. Now who in there right mind would travel over 4,000 miles by plane to see a dentist?!?! On a side note I never claimed my spelling, grammar or overall writing was spectacular so no judging my review or telling my high school English teacher!
I'm extremely glad I found Pittsford Dental Excellence Center. Everyone in the office is compassionate, supportive and very professional. Dr. Guarnieri and his team makes sure you're always comfortable and everyone gives very thorough explanations. Thank you so much for always providing amazing care! I highly recommend Dr. Guarnieri and his dental team!
