Playcare is a new concept in pet care designed and made popular by busy dog owners who love their dogs. Playcare keeps a dog’s body and mind active and builds a healthier, happier, better behaving dog. Their day is always rich with activities and attention. Our highly trained Activity Coordinators will directly supervise and fill each guest’s day with stimulation, interaction, and play.
Each guest is evaluated individually for proper social skills, activity level, and temperament and placed in the appropriate Playcare group. We also offer Very Individualized Playtime (V.I.P.). This program is for our guests who are older, recuperating from surgery, or need a little extra attention and down time during the day.

Every Suite features custom Planet Bark® linens, an innovative height-adjustable dining bowl and a cozy, ergonomically correct bed. Our climate controlled Suites come in three sizes; petite, deluxe, and master. Each boasts dimming lights, modern décor and soft music. Our master suites offer TV’s programmed with the latest in doggie entertainment.
At Planet Bark®, we understand what it is like to entrust a beloved dog into someone else’s care. We work diligently with our clients to acquire important information about their dog’s dietary guidelines, medication regiments, temperament, and activity levels. All of this assists us in creating an individual itinerary for each of our guests.
Our typical boarding day starts with a 6:30 am wake-up call, followed by a visit to our outdoor play space and a hearty breakfast. With their bellies full, it’s off to Playcare for a day of fun and frolic with their friends. After a day of play and companionship, they enjoy dinner, take one last romp in the outdoor place space, and are “tucked in” for the night.
We offer individualized accommodations for senior and special need dogs.
What’s a vacation without a trip to the SPAW?
In our stress-free environment our Spa(w) Specialists will give every guest the pampering they deserve and the same service our clients would expect from a high end day spa. Contact your Planet Bark® Vacation Specialist to schedule your dog’s day of pampering. Appointments for these services can be booked on-line, by phone, or in person.
All Planet Bark® resorts will offer basic Spa(w) services including baths, blow drying, brush outs, and nail trims. Because all dogs are different, our pricing is based on size, breed and level of grooming needed.
Select Planet Bark® resorts will offer full service grooming and various additional spa treatments.
