Attended a birthday party there recently and Rooms were small and not very clean. smallest possible ice-cream cake. Each kid will receive just 2 slice and 1 pop. No water bottles.
Dark rooms black lights lasers....what's not to like :-
Kids and adults will have great fun. If you have younger children might want to keep an eye on them if you're playing in a group. Often times you will find rowdy and rude teenagers who are foul-mouthed swearing at or around the children and pushing them sometimes. If you're able to steer away from those type of crowds, there's plenty of fun to be had.
Terrible customer service! My child took the vest off the assigned rack but it had been misplaced by someone in the previous game. She realized about half way through that it was the wrong vest and wasn't accruing points. She was very sad as most of the game was wasted for her so I asked staff Daniel if my kids could jump into the next game if there were spots available. He said that he would not allow it as it was our fault for not checking if the vest worked. He explained that they would be losing money by allowing us to play for free... Attempting to explain the basics of customer service to him was unsuccessful, so I asked for a manager contact. He refused to give me a manager name and directed me to the website. I've waited a few weeks with no reply. Pretty disappointing after all the money spent there on games and birthdays. The actual lazer tagging is fun. Just don't expect nice staff with customer service skills. And check your vest! Because they will blame you if you grab the wrong one ...
Overall, the experience was okay. We booked a birthday party for my son. The customer service was below par. No welcome. No water, no cups. Not even a simple decoration. The whole birthday party package is not worth the experience that we expected. Next time, we will only book laser tag games. Or bday party elsewhere where kids enjoy the party time as well
I tried really hard to understand why the service was so bad. Staff were just always so angry no matter how politely I spoke to them. I can see how it's not an easy job running places like these. We had a party at the Richmond venue and the staff were amazing, accommodating and kind. Lazer tag and game machines were a lot of fun. I booked for a birthday party. The place needs to be cleaned more often
Place was an amazing time. The equipment was clean and working well. The employee were fun and give great instruction. The party room however was up a steep flight of stairs and there was no elevator, so wasn’t stroller friendly.
we had a great time as a group and playing here. However like most other reviews here are saying the customer service is so bad here. We were all on time and only 8 of us yet the guy working was being racist and pushing us to “hurry up” lol. Definitely won’t be returning. Just a tip as a business owner myself. Customer service is what gets you far not being fake and rude. Without my customers my business wouldn’t run same for yours. So as an owner maybe have a serious chat with your employees about customer service and if they don’t get it then fire them cause they clearly hate there lives and working here isn’t for them. Good luck if this place even lasts LOL.
Just had my daughters birthday party at Planet lazer in Langley. It was great! We had 9 people, got two medium pizzas, one birthday cake, which was delicious! Everyone had a great time and had LOTS of fun and there was more than enough food. I called before scheduling the party and all questions were answered with enthusiasm and kindness. Very professional the entire way through and it went smoothly and without any hiccups. Would definately recommend for a simple, no hassle birthday party.
First time here, and my son loved it. He said the game is fun and exciting. This place can get a bit crowded when peak hour. The waiting area or lobby have few arcade machines and also 3 pinball machines.
