Planned Parenthood: East Los Angeles Health Center

Ridiculous wait times despite having made an appointment, was told I could not accompany my fiancée to her appointment, or even so much as WAIT in the waiting room despite the Planned Parenthood website stating that both are more than ok. Was not aware that the inability to handle appointments or run an efficient/timely business was an excuse to not let people so much as wait in your waiting room for their partner.

The staff is so nice and fast. Did not wait at all , was seen extremely fast. very clean facility. I feel comfortable coming here don't feel judged , nurses and providers are the best .

You should make an appointment, will save you some time. Walked in at 9:50am just got out at 12:45pm. #morningAP

Every time I come here they are awesome with their service. The one who helped me out went by the name of Cecelia and she was very nice and answered my questions with much thought put into them.

Always come here to get prescription refill, staff are very accomodating and very pleasant. Wendy was nice and very thorough with details and answering any questions that I had.

Very welcoming and professional and the staff is kind and friendly.

Friendly staff. Always helpful. I will say some days are better than others. It can either be busy or not busy. But it's worth the wait.

I can trust the nurses will help me whenever i need the help. They have great attitudes and enjoy doing there jobs.

Unfortunately my visit here left me with no choice but to switch to thepillclub.com, I came in with appointment only to be told an hour later that they don’t take my insurance, which I recently enrolled in due to the pandemic. I was told I had to pay for an office visit and prescription$$ per pack. I mentioned I didn’t have that type of money and they said sorry. I thought it was care no matter what, I guess not I would have walked out of there paying $200+ for the visit and prescription. I went on their app which offered birth control pill packs for $20 each but at the end my friend mention thepillclub.com which was way cheaper and a better alternative. It was easy to deal with and time hassle free too!
