Pretty good spot to stay. The spots are all concrete, which is nice. The public laundry is decent, but has two separate bathrooms with showers, which for a 6’2” person is great as I dislike most camper showers. Getting mail can be a bit tricky.
Where do I begin! And this review will probably give the owner a reason to evict me! It won't be because I don't pay my rent on time every month, and it won't be because my lot is always spotless!!! The owner and management hate truthful reviews!! First of all when I moved here April 3, 2023 The manager and her husband were the best rv park host I have ever had the pleasure of having. They were always in the office, if the office hours said 9-5 they were there. After hours if their was a issue with electric or water or any other issue they were available. You always saw them on the property. Friendly and helpful. Since my arrival unfortunately Aretta and Lloyd are no longer here, and it truly shows. The office hours are very unpredictable! If you plan on being a full time resident here you are better off getting a PO box for your mail and have your packages delivered elsewhere. The manager now is nice when she's here, But she doesn't associate with all of us like Aretta and Lloyd did. It's almost like we are just a bunch of renters without a manager on site. The pond is about to dry up so no nice scenery anymore. The rules aren't enforced at all. Lots of clutter around people's rv's, It looks like a run down trailer park, not a rv park. My time here was going to be long term but not anymore. I have a ill parent in the area is the only reason I'm still here. Out of all the rv parks I have been too this one is by far the biggest disappointment. Nice laundry room is the only nice thing at this park. A little pricey but it's always clean.
Management is wonderful, very friendly & understanding. Very clean and quiet park. The bathrooms / laundry area is always very clean. Love the interaction with our management when they are out checking on the area. Very helpful in everywhere possible. Definitely would recommend this park for short or long term stays.
We loved our two week stay! The couple that owns the place is very friendly and accommodating. They keep the grounds well maintained. Nice quiet stay, will come back.
I would definitely recommend staying here. We stayed for a week. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It’s very quiet and beautiful. Will definitely be staying here again.
Clean well kept. friendly helpful management. Convenient store and Shipley donuts half block away. Doordash delivery available for many restaurants. City bus stops right across the street. We stayed 2 nights and we will come back again. I
We’ve been at this park for 4 years in lot 88 and have had the best experience ever we were here when Brian was manager and then Aretta and Lloyd took over the park and have been an absolute joy to be around they watch after our camper when we go to work and are out of town. They helped us when are water line froze up got it unplugged without saying not there problem and checked on us during storms they are truely a blessing in this park and I wouldn’t trade them for any other manager in the world! Plus there always around to give us mail we just call and they make theres selves available 7 days a week even after hrs. The park in clean and very family friendly you just can’t beat the wonderful atmosphere close to town walking distance to Shipleys donuts and El Toro Mexican restaurant. Stay here and you’ll have so much fun the best part is there rent rate is the most reasonable in town hopefully they don’t change anything because they are doing great just like they have it.
I’m looking for a an affordable RV to purchase and stay here! The bathrooms are very clean and the owners and management are kind and courteous! Do y’all rent RVs you could bake a killing if you did! Thanks for your hospitality!
I'm truly for a loss of words, these folks are more than amazing. They are kind, gentle and even humorous! I'm absolutely novice, and the owners were kind enough to help me get in place... more than perfect. I'm so grateful to have found a home, with such kind folks. Until you meet them, you'll never understand how beautiful they are. The park is amazing, so clean, maintained, and the amenities are more than anyone could ask for... even a huge shower and laundry room. Nirvana?? I have a pond!! I most likely won the lottery?!?! I'm grateful. Good people. Great space.
Plantation Oaks RV Park is delightful. The managers are considerate, caring individuals who do their utmost to serve the public. We stayed the winter and will be back next year. It was simply a pleasure to be there.
