Very Clean and organized store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good selection for thrift. Overall the store is managed very well, especial when compared to other Plato’s locations.
This store is literally the definition of southern hospitality. The staff are friendly and I love the fact that there women. Everyone helps and are well mannered. You guys are truly the best Plato’s in this area.
Ridiculous! Don't waste your time going here to sell your clothes. I brought in a large bin full of clothes and many still had price tags on them. But of course, all they wanted were my American Eagle jeans. They didn't even give me a reasonable price for them. I brought in 20 pairs that were gently used and only received $60. You are better off selling your items online through eBay or another site for a much better price. On the other hand, the clothes are cheap but with all honesty I will never go back.

This is the 1st Google review I've ever left. My experience here was so bad that I am taking the time to do this. I went in on Sunday 05/22 around 3:00pm to sell a small bag of clothes. Keep in mind, I was the only person there who was selling. After the 30 minute time estimate I was given initially, I did not receive a text saying my items were ready. I went to the front of the store to wait by the counter only to find the girls who were working sitting ON THE COUNTER chatting, and gossiping about people they go to school with. They glanced over at me several times and saw me waiting for my items, never asked if I needed help. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes while the girls periodically glanced over at me and repeatedly blew me off. After processing my disbelief, I asked if my items were done.. one of them said "oh yeah.. they've been done for a while" then sent me text that my items were done WHILE I WAS ALREADY STANDING THERE AT THE COUNTER. Then rudely gave me the money for the items that sold and handed me the bag of the rest. Absolutely unacceptable service.
Such a terrible store. When you first walk in, the smell is gross. Then you have to deal with the rude employees.
Hidden treasure behind Texas Borders. This branch is cleaner and more organized than the branch on Mason road. Also more spacious. If I had to nitpick, I wish they had chairs for husbands & fathers.
If I could give this a 0 star I would to start off my story I went to plato’s closet thinking I would get like 10 dollars per shirt keep in mind my clothes are name brand such as forever 21, vintage Havana, and Express.I gave the worker my clothes she said that it would take about 20 min. I wasted my 20 min waiting because I only got $5.35 for 2 of my on brand shirts I know for a fact one of the shirts that they kept is 40 dollars this is such a rip of don’t waste your time going their I should have not accepted the offer but I really thought it was a joke or something I was so surprised that I just left and realized what happend while I was driving home. DONT waste your time going to this store I will never be coming here again.
I don’t write a negative review but this time I’m doing it with the intention to help many others. DO NOT GO AND WASTE YOUR TIME. I brought brand name suits and dresses that were almost like new, so they took it and asked me to come back in 45 minutes when they send me the text. So we go and have lunch at Berry Hill next door. After one hour when I checked with them, they said they are almost ready but again no text from them even after 2 hours. Finally we personally went there to find out how 45 minutes turned out 3 hours and still did not had the courtesy to call me. Then they said, they can’t accept my stuff as it’s different from their inventory. I offered them to take it for FREE as I did not want to take them back. Declined my offer and said, I will check on them later to see if they are selling it. I assured them that I have no time to check on them. I was very upset to waste my time and trips.
Walked in right after the store open in the morning to sell. The lady was nice and it took her less than 20 minutes to finish. Since they are resale store and only stock certain inventories, you have better chance to sell items which are in season. Sometimes it may be worth just donating to goodwill to get tax deduction.
