Estate Planning, Elder Law, Asset Protection, and Estate and Trust Administration Attorneys.
The attorneys at Platt Law limit their services to estate planning, elder law, asset protection planning, trust and probate administration, and other closely related services.
Attorney RobRoy Platt is one of a very limited number of attorneys in Utah to be board certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS) by the The Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., an attorney-run affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils in Cleveland, Ohio, which is the only ABA-accredited program for certification of an attorney as an Estate Planning Law Specialist.
In addition, RobRoy has been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. This organization awards estate planning professionals the AEP designation to recognize those who meet stringent, graduate level specialization requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character. An AEP® designee must embrace the team concept of estate planning and adhere to the NAEPC Code of Ethics, as well as participate in a yearly renewal and re-certification process.
Focusing in such a narrow area allows the attorneys at Platt Law to competently and comprehensively address their clients' most pressing concerns about their estate planning, whether that consists of writing a simple Will or Trust or by drafting a complex set of legal documents for the passing on of a lifetime of accumulated wealth or a family business. Our attorneys spend the necessary time required to fully explain the law relevant to our clients' situations and the options available to them.
Through trusts, powers of attorney, wills, business entities, and a variety of other planning tools, Platt Law creates comprehensive estate plans for their clients and help keep those documents current and accurate until they are needed.
