Friendly and helpful staff all over. Disability friendly. Great for kids. Easy to read signs. And huge compared to past libraries.
Very cool, modern library found at the end of the downtown area on Main St. Limited parking lot, street parking. Two story building has plenty of room to grow. Nice reading stations, study pods, charging stations. Elevator available for access to second floor. Baskets and carts to tote your items until check out on main floor. Study rooms available for reservation as well as a larger community room. If you deem this review helpful, please give it a like. Thank you.
Lovely library and staff !! New and awarding facility. You can check out books yourself ! Very quiet and clean. Host classes and have many book sales !
Great library! New book selection. Lovely kind librarians especially in the kids section. Lots of great free programs and activities. Story time is also a hit with our family.
The host was graceful, polite and knows how to provide customers with a warm and inviting experience. The smooth jazz Christmas music set the vibe. The FOOD...I ordered tips & hot link combo was delicious. My daughter ordered beef tips & chicken and shared a wing that was hot and off the chain. The quantity was enough for another meal. Hats off to the chef and the lovely hostess. This place has a new management team and has transformed from the last time I visited. I would recommend everyone to check Boaz out for a meal if you are looking for a delectable delicious and some authentic BBQ. I'm originally from Chicag so I know what good BBQ should taste like. THIS IS IT.
We are so lucky to have the Platteville Public library just blocks from our home! It's an incredible space for the community. Yes they have books, media, etc to borrow but they offer adult and kids programming too! And did I mention how awesome the staff is?! Just don't think the 5 star rating does them justice, they are clearly a 10 star library!!!!
Cool place! I have a 3 year old and we went on a rainy day. They have tons of stuff to do and were very friendly. Highly recommend
Very nice new building and has something for all ages. Nice places to hang out and even has a fireplace. Parking is easy and free with street parking on two sides with a lot in the back.
The library has improved It has become more culturally sensitive. It has more black authors and books for black children now.
Very nice new building. It is spacious and airy. Very welcoming with a terrific staff. They have a host of modern amenities.
