Friendly staff. The location was clean and well organized. My tropical açaí bowl was delicious. My wife the coconut craze bowl.Recommended dishesTropical Acai Bowl
I seriously have to stop going to this location. Cranford and Summit are the most consistent. Not the first time they are stingy on the fruit and quality of the fruit and customer service leave much to be desired.
Parking on Millburn Avenue is the worst! But service is excellent, and we love the bowls my husband orders at least one bowl per month!! My favorites are Dragonberry-Pitayapictured, Coco-Coconut, and Pacific-Green.Dine in: NoTakeout: No
Im a former Cranford customer I currently work in Millburn, and I try to support the merchants in town. I’ve experienced unpleasant hospitality from some of the employees from this location. Today when I paid for my juice the young Hispanic lady who barely speaks charged my account for the previous customer. Totally empathetic and in someway I felt she blamed me for her mistake.. she immediately went over to the previous customer and whole heartily apologized to her but there was no empathy for my inconvenience. She continued to prepare my order and placed it in the pick up location with no signs of empathy as she had given the previous customer who may possibly received a free order on me. I asked for the managers info it wasn’t given . At this point I could tell she didn’t care that she made the mistake with no signs of taking ownership. I asked when will I receive my refund she was totally unsure and didn’t care. Never again will I purchase from this location. Hire individuals who want to work and give unbiased customer service and represent the brand. Horrible and discriminative service
I got a juice with pineapple, apple and less kale and mint. It was alright. My sister got an acai bowl. We noticed after ordering that the other bowls have detailed ingredient lists, while this one just says "acai blend". It is EXTREMELY sweet, and has an artificial taste to it. Considering the earthiness of the juice, I never expected that they would have something sweeter than ice cream on the menu. I was shocked by how overly sweet the acai was on its own, and then there was sweetened granola and honeyed fruit on top. I cannot believe that is how that was meant to taste. Yikes. On the bright side, the employees were nice and shop was cute, if a little dark. They decided to take out the trash while we were there and sprayed a ton of air freshener, but thankfully we were on our way out anyway. My cousin really likes the chia pudding bowls but I don't know that I'll come back to try them...
This was my first time trying a Acai Bowl we had the Nutella, granola with coconut strawberries and pineapple instead of Bananas... It was tasty or should I say interesting lol. The jury is still out!! the decor was cute had like a beach vibe going.. it was dimly lit to me. But cute for the teenagers to gather and hang out! Parking: Street parking
Ordered the Electric Mermaid with vanilla protein powder and it was delicious. I picked it up on time and it was ready on time. I have no complaints!
I love Playa Bowls! It’s the best place and most bang for your buck Acai bowl place in the area. I will forever be a customer.
Fun space like Hawaii almost but expensive fresh bowls of super foods and oatmeal and fruits. 16oz smoothie for $8. Aloha slushie was ok, needed more mango and pineapple. Mostly chunks of banana.Food: 3/5
Great food and nice service. They have always gotten my order correct. And never skimped on fruit. Just wish that parking in our town wasn’t such a nightmare.
