Plaza Theatre Downtown Garland

A very cool theater in downtown Garland! A great place to catch a free movie once a month for the Thursday Throwback movie series. Concessions are sold and benefit the Garland Downtown Business Association. The association does a Costume contest for each of their movies! Parking is available in lots and on the street around downtown. A fun night out!

What a beautiful theater. Had the pleasure of seeing the final weekend performance of The Games A foot; or Holmes for the Holidays. The Company of Rowlett Performers delivered an amazing and comical performance. The actors connected with the audience and we're phenomenal. They are preparing for A Christmas Carol in December 9-17 here at the Plaza Theater in Garland.

Awesome event place. We had a great time watching Carvin Jones performance. It was spectacular!

Fabulous place to perform, or to watch a show. Can't wait to see what this area looks like when construction is finished.

Enjoyed "Christmas Belles" performed by the Rowlett Performers. The theater was very clean and the seating was comfortable. Take a sweater just in case.

An awesome historic movie theater, located in the heart of downtown Garland. If you get on the Garland website, you can see when they show movies for free, which are generally classic movies. Overall, a great experience!

Always a pleasure to visit this treasure of a theater. The guy that works for the City of Garland that works there has it running smoothly. Can't beat a FREE movie and fresh popcorn and pop. Cleanliness and the decoration is superb. Love this place !!!!!!

There are so many cool things going on here. The free movies are a lot of fun! And they have dance, theater and music programs all the time. The downtown residents are lucky to have a neighborhood live theater right next door.

We enjoyed a great socially distanced experience. A Tuna Christmas is a great show. Refreshments for a donation and spaced out seating. Lots of great places nearby to eat dinner beforehand.
