Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad - Station 16
The Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of ten all-volunteer rescue squads in the City of Virginia Beach. Our squad responds to any emergency medical dispatch within the 248 square miles of our city limits free of charge. We serve approximately 440,484 Virginia Beach citizens as well as the thousands from neighboring cities who work and visit each day in addition to the nearly 6 million overnight tourists who visit our city annually. Plaza is thankful for the community who supports its volunteers and ability to maintain four ALS equipped ambulances and one heavy duty squad truck.
