The Pleasant Valley Junior High facebook page shares information about school activities, events, and curriculum with the public. We welcome your thoughts and comments and look forward to what you have to say. However, all posting of comments on this page are at the discretion of the page administrators. The intent of this policy is not to keep any negative or critical information from being posted, but to protect the privacy and rights of our students and staff.
We will not leave comments on the page that contain:
1. Bullying, harassment, intimidation or blackmail.

3. Hate Speech (directly attacking someone based on their race, color, national origin, gender, disability, religion, creed, age , marital status , sexual orientation, gender identity, or socioeconomic status)

5. Infringement upon Copyright Laws
6. Infringement upon Personal Privacy, including HIPAA and FERPA Laws
7. Promotion of illicit, illegal or unethical activity
8. Violates the Conduct section of Student/Parent Handbook.
To help us keep a respectful and welcoming space for community members to share opinions, we ask that you:
1. Keep private conversations private. This page is not intended to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues and concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the District, a school, or staff member will be removed.
2. Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.
3. Contact staff members privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page.
4. Be aware of the mission. The mission of the Pleasant Valley Community School District is education. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.
5. Be factual. Inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted.
