The Lab School is a college transition program for students 18-21 with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
The Pleasantville Laboratory School at Westchester Community College, designed for students 18-‐21 years with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, operates under the Pleasantville School District on the Westchester Community College campus, thus affording social, educational and vocational opportunities with same-‐aged peers. Our program is devised to teach students skills and strategies in order to transition to adult life as independently as possible. Classes are provided in partnership with The Pleasantville Lab School, Westchester Community College, and The Division of Workforce Development and Community Education at Westchester Community College. Lab School students are able to work towards a Skill and Achievement Commencement Credential, Career Development Occupational Studies Credential, or Diploma through the Pleasantville Laboratory School.
