PlyCore Fitness began in Fall 2009 with its roots in Raleigh, NC. PlyCore combines Plyometrics, Core Fitness, and Weight Training to condition the body to increase muscle endurance, enhance reflex time, strengthen the core, and build on personal goals.

Description

Mission: PlyCore is designed to maximize workout by pushing each participant beyond their perceived limits. By challenging body and mind PlyCore targets strengthening the core by working the upper, midsection, and lower body collectively maximizing the ability of each individual. PlyCore focuses on producing overall results on increasing muscle endurance, strength training, sports conditioning and flexibility.

Philosophy: PlyCore is a combination of Plyometrics, Core Fitness and Weight Training. PlyCore’s tri-method goal is to overall strengthen the body as a whole. The body is one big organism and its mechanics work like a machine. If one has a bad back chances are something else in the body is weak or not working correctly to fully support the back. Just like a car, business, farm, sports team, or other functioning system, think of the body as a team. In order to efficiently and successfully reach an objective the entire team must be able to work together fluently. In order for a team to be fluent practice is essential. Teams are then split up, work on their specific tasks or purpose and then meet in the middle to put the puzzle together. The body works the same way. It is a team of different parts and each part needs conditioning and then programming.

PlyCore maximizes the body’s ability to focus on the three essentials collectively. This method causes the body’s core (whole) system to work together. At first it’s a shock to the system as many are used to focusing on one specific part of the body. Eventually one will start to not only feel but see results in whatever their goals are.

Method: The method is simple. PlyCore’s strategy has the body continuously changing up the routine so that the body cannot get used to the workout and plateau. By changing up routine the body’s muscles are always challenged and by continuously changing how muscles are worked the body gets a better workout, burns more calories and develops the best results.

Who: PlyCore is for everyone. Whether looking to get in shape, reach a goal, improve activity and enhance a specialty, learn some new moves, or for motivation, PlyCore offers something for everyone.

Values: PlyCore’s approach is for everyone to feel worth it! Taking a deeper look, PlyCore not only gets people in shape it also brings community together by applying the idea that everyone can reach their goals no matter what the ability. PlyCore wants each client to feel accepted and energized. Private and group lessons are offered and encouraged.

Intensity: The level of intensity is by choice. Each client chooses how much they want to challenge themselves as they go. Whether a beginner or experienced, PlyCore will work at each individual’s pace. PlyCore will push you while at the same time respect your desires.

Goal: The idea is for each client to walk away with their goals met, increased knowledge of body mechanics, increased knowledge of ideas and workout routines, satisfaction, to want more and most importantly to feel good.

The Process: Client(s) contacts PlyCore. PlyCore then meets with client(s), sets goals and administers an assessment of client(s) abilities and then sessions begin.

PlyCore believes that personality is key. PlyCore takes the time to get to know clients and not only help them physically and mentally but help open doors to other possible resources and services. Networking is the key to success these days. With all the challenges we face today, it is important and comforting to know that there are people around that are willing to help without asking for much in return if anything at all.
