Very nice park, for kids and adults alike, splash pad is descent and fun for toddlers, wil recommend and visit again
There are no dogs/pets allowed, but this is an absolutely Beautiful park that is maintained very well but super friendly park rangers
The park is so very clean and well kept. The play areas are fun and adventurous. The trails are wide enough to enjoy the trees and sounds of birds ducks and children having a great experience.
It has nice regular play structure, wooden play structure, lot of swings, splash zone for kids Playground: It is not dog friendly. Picnic area: It has lot of picnic tables
Such a great park. Has a bunch of features including a splash pad, a really nice path/trail, 3 or 4 pavilions, 2 stellar playgrounds one all wooden, and filled with activities and hiding spots, the other is newer plastic style with the sponge turf. A bit better for older kids but also has a couple ADA features as well as areas to cook and relax under a canopy of trees. There's also ball fields and a massive toboggan hill. Back to the playgrounds: my littlest is 3 almost 4. He's a bit agile but not super stable so be sure to watch your younger ones on both play structures. The newer one has ladders that go up to slides maybe 20 feet off the ground. The wood one is a bit easier to let the little ones run around on, but it's also harder to watch them because it's such a complex plays playscape. There is a fence but it's got a few areas motivated ninja toddlers can sneak through. There are multiple restroom areas, but one by the old playground seems to be locked more often than not. The staff is mostly younger folk. Watch out when they're flying around on their little work cart. Pavilions are available for rent through the city. Overall one of our favorite parks to go to outside of the city. Be sure to hit up Lee's Famous Chicken down the street if you want to make eats easy! Playground: 2 big playgrounds! Wooden one has swings, bridges, lots of fun hiding spots. Plastic and metal is a bit better for 4+yr old kids, but both have features that for kids 2-13.
My son is currently 15 months and loves this splash pad. As a mom, I love it, because the people here are usually friendly and I enjoy letting my son socialize and meet new people. It’s offers more shade and picnic tables than any of the other splash pads I’ve been to. And when we’re done with the water activities there’s a slide/playground a few feet away.
Sure! I recently visited the park and it was amazing. The park is huge and there's so much to do. I loved walking around and seeing all the beautiful flowers and trees. There were so many people playing sports, having picnics, and just enjoying the day. I also got to see some really cool street performers and artists. I would definitely recommend visiting the park if you're ever in MICHIFAN.. really good honestly not gonna lie
McClumpha is the best park to go to. It's clean and a beautiful family friendly atmosphere. They have two cool parks a sand pit and free splash pad all in one area. Only con is they close the bathrooms too early.
One of the best ones visited this past summer…. Wooden castle, 2 additional playgrounds, water playground, nature walk, hills, baseball diamonds and that was just on one side! Pavilions, plenty of picnic tables, bathrooms & grilling available. You could spend all day here.
My son’s baseball team plays here. It’s a nice environment and clean area. I wish there was more seating provided for the spectators at the fields. You’ll have to make sure you bring your own seat.
