Wake up guys.  From one professional to another your legacy is when you strive to be the best you can be and do the best you can do.  Meanwhile, you are failing miserably at keeping Southern Utah safe.  Shame on you.  I sit and watch cars run Every. Single. Red. Light.  Your officers sitting there don't even raise a brow.  Seriously will it take one your family members to be killed in one of the numerous accidents I read about daily with one of two causes.  Either failing to yield which is blatantly obvious as people constantly pull out in front of me, or you guessed it, running a red light.  Please do something about this it is not that damn hard to open your pathetic eyes and start slamming the red light runners with citations.  It is 90% locals With Utah plates I see doing it not only the tourists.

I was harassed by an officer last night while I was doing my rounds for security for the company I work for. I got pulled over for no valid reason and he proceeded asking for my ID, after he ran my ID he starts asking for insurance and registration.  I understand if he just wanted to make sure I was security,  but he didn't have no right to keep me there that long. He made me super nervous and it was like he was trying to find just anything to get me with. Didn't work out to good for him if that was the case. I feel one of my amendments was violated by this officer and was to nervous to ask for names due to being so anxious after the interaction.

Harassed for ID for being "suspicious" because we were parked in A legal area  well known ohv use area. Had light shined in my eyes the entire time.  Cop was a Tyrant.

Last weekend my wife locked herself out of our vehicle with our two boys in their car seats in the car. The police responded within 10 minutes and were able to wedge the door open enough to roll the window down and unlock the car. The officers gave my sons stickers and chatted with them for a few minutes after. Extremely professional and respectful. I wish I knew the names of the officers so I could give them a  shout out personally. Thank you for your service!

Officer Nielson was kind and respectful. Gave me a ticket but was quick and no nonsense. Didn’t treat me differently cause of my skin color. In an age where cops “are bastards”, officer Nielsen stands out as a wonderful human being.

Gary and Ronald came to the rescue! I locked my keys in my car that had a dead battery. They tried for about an hour with the tools they had but had no luck. However, they never gave up! Ronald called “his guy”, Randy,  from the local auto shop who finessed the lock and jumped my car lickity-split. Very thankful for these three kind men.

This department of thugs just want out of state money. Be very careful driving through here with out of state license plates. They can put on a really friendly act before requesting to search.  Then forcing a search in violation of the 4th amendment. Do not consent to anything and remain silent. Record all of their activities as they are known to mute and cover body cameras.

I am super appreciative of officer Hill I believe that was his last name, please correct me if I am wrong. I was stopped for expired registration, and had my wife and son with me.  The officer treated me with so much respect, and got me on my way very quickly. I told him I would renew the registration the very next day, and did just that. I super appreciated the warning/reminder, and did not recognize it was expired because Utah does not give postcards, and I recently moved to Arizona.  Professionals and law enforcement don’t get to hear often enough how they truly provide so much benefit to our society. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience, and appreciate the respect and professionalism I experienced in this encounter.  Thank You!

I got stopped in this city for basically being a Mexican with more car than I should have.  I was driving a new Tacoma Tundra with the California Temporary Paper plates.  My wife is Anglo and just like me is a retired California Peace officer.  The Barney Fife type officer just walked up to the driver driver door and stood centered in the window frame and said " Registration, Driver's License and Insurance cards."  He never stated why he stopped me or identified himself or his agency.  When he saw my real 'cop badge' he just said " drive carefully and have a good day" and walked away.  I think writing tickets and collecting fines on the spot is how this wide spot in the road town supports more police department than is needed.

I recently got pulled over for speeding.. I was embarrassed for being forgetful of how fast I was going. Prior to getting pulled over my husband and I made plans to go to the Washington County fair. We weren't able to enter the fair grounds because we didn't have $3 cash. We decided that it wasn't worth going to get cash and going all the way back to the fair. We headed home, frustrated at the situation. On Hurricane state road is where I got pulled over. The Police Officer clocked me in going 15 over the speed limit. I could hardly speak to the officer due to my tears so my husband explained our situation to him, and how sorry we were for not being focused on our speed. The officer took my license and did his thing. He returned to our car with my license, and with my license was a 5 dollar bill. I was speechless. The officer said, "take this and go have fun at the fair, seriously or I'm going to start crying." I'll never forget this experience. The compassion he had towards us was touching. I hope that kindness is returned to him in a big way.
