We called the detroit police there was a car accident. No police came for 3& half hours ! Our neighbor called the police 3 times within 30 days regarding our neighbors fence ! The Detroit Police came out In 5 minutes or less ! Yes,She is White this should not happen like this in any community. No police department in Detroit sad.
Corrupt department. They had to use an entire department to bully up on a handicapped old man, a woman, and two old men who didn't break any laws.. What are they hiding? This is why Detroit will stay Detroit. Building hasn't changed since the 1960's. Half of the department need to put down the KFC box and the other half need to put down the steroids.
There's no zero star option. These police work for their boss not for the people. If you ask for a complaint form, you will be meet with hostility. They choose violence over reason. The 9th Precinct is run by a gang.

I am the owner of a Senior daycare on Mack Ave. One of my clients who has multiple issues was not responding to multiple calls, visits to her home for an extended period of time. I called and requested a wellness visit. Two wonderful officers responded, they were extremely professional, respectful, kind and concerned. They called the hospitals finally spoke with their supervisor and went in and checked her home, not to find her. A. Bowls on #320 D. Rice #4749 I finally located her a week later, she is fine. It is such a blessing to have officers of this caliber in our community. I needed to share this awesome experience. Bettye Wright
GREAT PRECINCT! When I call they answer-when I call with crazy request, like I am leaving work and questioned if any patrol cars are in the immediate area walking to bus stop the officer that answer phone was kind and courteous, did not laugh and took me serious. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!
Never had a problem with them. I always treat then with respect. They have a very tough job.
