•Sworn or civilian employees and pensioners of any St. Joseph County, IN law enforcement agency.
•All members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local #700 Union.
•Employees and retirees of South Bend Lathe, Inc., Dynablast and Schafer Gearworks, Inc.
•All Fraternal Order of Police Associate (F.O.P.A.) members of F.O.P. Lodges #36, #91 and #155. Membership in the F.O.P.A. is open to the public and qualifies you for membership in PFCU.
•All credit union member's relatives by blood or marriage.

Membership Share Savings Account:
Membership with Policemen's Federal Credit Union starts with opening a Membership Share Savings Account
•A PFCU Membership Share Savings Account can be opened with as little as $5. To maintain your membership, the balance in this account cannot fall below $5.
•Dividends are earned from day one! Dividends are paid quarterly on your daily balance.
•Convenient ATM access to your Membership Share Savings Account is available at PFCU's three local ATM stations, all Credit Union Center shared branch ATMs in Indiana, and all Alliance One ATMs without incurring ATM charges.
Premier Checking Account:
At Policemen's Federal Credit Union, we don't need to offer a variety of checking accounts. All the features and benefits you're looking for can be found in PFCU's Premier Checking Account.
The advantages of PFCU's Premier Checking Account include:
•No minimum balance
•ID Safe Identity Theft Recovery Services available
•Dividends are paid on daily balances of $250 or more
◦Dividends are paid monthly on your daily balance
•No restrictions on the number of share drafts you can write
•No per check charge
Additional PFCU Premier Checking benefits:
•The Premier Checking Account features a VISA check card which allows debit and credit transactions everywhere VISA is accepted. This card also serves as an ATM access card.

•New and Used Vehicle Loans
◦GAP Plus Insurance (Guaranteed Asset Protection): In the event that your car is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair or otherwise declared a total loss, you are still liable for any existing loan balance on that vehicle. GAP Plus insurance helps cover the difference between your primary insurer's settlement and your loan balance. It also provides up to $1,000 toward the down payment of a replacement vehicle (when financed by PFCU). All this protection for just a few dollars a month!
◦Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI): Insurance that pays for covered vehicle repairs after the manufacturer warranty expires. Coverage is available for new and used vehicles which qualify, and repairs can be done at any licensed facility in the United States. Towing service, rental car coverage, trip interruption, and tire protection coverage are available for covered losses even during the factory warranty period. Several convenient payment options are available!

Refinance:
If you have loans at other financial institutions such as car loans, motorcycle loans or signature loans, maybe we can help! If you qualify for a rate that's lower than your current loan somewhere else, we'd be happy to refinance that loan at PFCU and save you on interest. Remember, you can save even more if you have a PFCU Premier Checking account with direct deposit!
