Very cute and quaint! My mint cucumber lemonade was delicious! I love their selection of puzzles and coloring books. A few more games and some ‘for here’ cups would be a perfect addition to their sitting room setup! Vegetarian options: Lots of baked goods and dairy free drinks. Parking: Fair few street spots but can get busy.
We stopped by this place visiting from Boston. We had two small toddlers and this place was very kid friendly. The pastry’s were wonderful. Very fresh and tasty. The coffee was somewhat cold when served but overall it was a wonderful place to stop by if you have a sweet tooth on a Saturday morning. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
OH MY GOODNESS, IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE TO THIS FABULOUS BAKERY THEN BE SURE TO PUT IT ON YOUR SHENANIGAN LIST!Food: 5/5
They nail every pastry they make. Love the coffee. The BLT is awesome. The bagels are incredible. The take home pieorgis were incredible. Love this place. A true diamond of the North Country.Food: 5/5
I've been told Polish Princess is one of only 3 bakeries in the state of New Hampshire that makes everything from scratch. Bottom line: It's all good. The place also makes authentic East European pastries because the owner is from Poland.Food: 5/5
Sandwiches are amazing, so are the tarts. Honey cinnamon latte was wicked good. Kid-friendliness: Ok for kids Parking: Free on street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp
We drove quite a distance to go here, and it was well worth it. It would be an understatement to say that we sampled a few items, we went big. Breads: Honey wheat, multigrain and oatmeal honey. All delicious. Treats: Chocolate chunk cookie, chocolate croissant, kolache, macaroon. All delicious. Actual 'food'?: Cheese pizza, egg sandwich with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and dijonnaise. All delicious. Polish Princess Bakery gets their ingredients from local farms and shops, we love this. The staff is super friendly and their espresso drinks are fantastic. Jenn can't stop going on about the Macaroons coconut and I dont get along as being literally the best she has ever had. I'm going back for another Kolache, and maybe a few other tidbits. : Rob and Jenn.
Wonderful bakery on a quaint NH Main Street in Lancaster. An assortment of pastries and breakfast foods along with coffee and breads. Coming from Brooklyn, I was surprised by the quality of the everything bagel - fresh and made well. This shouldn’t have surprised me as the place hummed with the energy of people passionate about baking. Trays of freshly baked wonders straight out of the oven and the sound of dough being pounded coming from the open kitchen —all signs of a stop well worth your time!
We've been here many times over the past couple of years. Each time we are less satisfied with the quality. Today we had the almond creme / chocolate croissant. The almond creme was super sweet and liquidy, and the pastry had been cut across the middle and 2 chocolate sticks placed inside. It fell apart midway through trying to eat it. My first time having a pastry that looked like it came out of surgery. Declining quality...likely won't return, sadly.
The bagels. Wow. Incredible and I’m used to NJ bagels. These have really amazing. Chewy yet not too doughy, and yet crispy on the outside. Not cheap but worth every penny. So tasty
