Polite Society's owner, Vesna, moved back to NOLA in 2008 after spending 14 years in Los Angeles. She always dreamed of opening a boutique in a residential neighborhood and dove on the chance after spotting an opportunity to renovate an old corner grocery store in Uptown neighborhood.
