Dr. Pollard did my total knee replacement on my right knee. I’m getting ready to replace my left, and wouldn’t use anyone else. It’s a hard recovery but well worth it.
He is an excellent doctor! My mom loves him. He does such a good job with my moms care. Yes, I would recommend!
My mother stepped down off of a riding mower and shattered her ankle, breaking it on both sides, obviously needing surgical repair. She was transferred from her local hospital to Jefferson Regional and admitted for care and surgery. I was on pins and needles. I live out-of-state and being a nurse who has worked in surgical nursing for 15 years, I was very skeptical about who would do the procedure and the entire process of taking care of my mom. I knew nothing of Dr. Pollard before-hand, however, he called me after my mom's surgery, gave time for my questions and answered every question I had. He was very polite, professional, and compassionate and physically checked on my mom daily, sometimes twice a day until discharge. He did a great job on my mom's procedure. Thank you very much, Dr. Pollard, for rendering great care!
Dr. Pollard focuses all his attention on his patients and answers all questions with extensive knowledge and utmost understanding. He may have some wait time in his office, but all the nurses and Medical staff are very friendly and concerned as well as extremely knowledgeable. If he works late, they do also and all with smiles. Dr. Pollard is a dedicated surgeon who is as meticulous in his surgery as he is putting a cast on an injured limb. Rave reviews come from his surgical staff and that means so much coming from professionally trained nurses and technicians! And his bedside manner is the best. He is as awesome as he sounds and I can't say enough great things about him!!!
I really enjoy my visits with Dr. Allen and his Nurse Shuna There front desk young lady long dark hair could use a customer service tune up. I came us and she had me as a new patient I said deat thats a huge mistake I've been here for years. I'm waiting on her response and followers my hips and shoulders were in so much pain hard to walk my daughter holding me up and this is what this young lady says:: so she turn to the white female blonde hair sitting at the exist window and says why is she still standing here.So, note that you please be kinder to your patients and next time use your inside voice or better yet don't say anything at all. And just pray that you don't ever need to physically see the orthopedic Doctors and please don't be the reason why this organization looses patient's. I wanted to tell Dr. Pollard but I did say from desk had me as a new patient Allen/ Nurse both turn look at my folder and said no im a long way from being a new patient. See, a lot of times just because we as patients visit the Dr we do have great relationships with them as well. I Love my Orthopedic and Nurse
I have to admit that the wait time is sometimes overwhelming however it is because Dr Pollard gives his full attention to his patients and is there too answer their concerns. Keep up the good work!!
