Pollay Agency, Inc. was founded in 1984 by husband and wife team John & Janet Pollay, and began as an Insurance Brokerage with an office on Remsen Street in Cohoes, NY. In 1987, the company expanded into Real Estate with John as Principal Real Estate Broker. Pollay Agency, Inc. sold the insurance end of the business in 2001 to focus solely on Real Estate, and moved its office to Andrew Ln in Cohoes. John Pollay served as Pollay Agency, Inc's Principal Real Estate Broker from 1987 until his passing in 2012. Upon John's death, his daughter, Kris Pollay DeLair took over as Principal Broker, with Janet Pollay still actively managing the day to day operations.
Pollay Agency, Inc. remains a family owned and operated Real Estate Brokerage that has has been in the real estate services business for many successful years and will be here for many more.
