We had a fantastic time at this restaurant last evening. The food service and atmosphere were all great. If you're looking for an authentic Colombian restaurant experience, don't pass up the opportunity to visit Pollos Mario. You won't regret it. We found a jewel of a restaurant right in the heart of Queens NY.Food: 5/5

1st time visiting this location since i walked in the person registering theirs guess immediately greed me and wrote my name on the book .. waiting time 1 hour but i was call in 15 minutes... the waitress name andres was great super super attentive The food fresh cooked and the waiting time wasn't too long ..
Delicious Good prices Excellent service Nice atmosphere Beautiful place.
Overall, I had a decent dinning experience. The food was good but on is the salty side. The langue barrier cause a bit of confusion on the orders. I enjoyed and would come back again . Prices are very reasonable
When I walked in the waitress immediately told the server no more people are getting served. She was already setting two people down and we here three. She mentioned they were closing early and it was 9:55 and they close at 11. She did mention she can take to go but of course we wanted to eat inside. She didn’t even bother to explain why they were closing early and this definitely was not the first time they close earlier than their schedule time.
This place is pretty good. Service was friendly and a but under staff. The portions were huge and would try again. If you have 4 or more people, there's no need to order the same dish. Try ordering different dishs to share and mix it up.Recommended dishesChicharron Pork, Skirt Steak Entraña, Bandeja Paisa, Roasted Chicken, Sangria - Small, Bandeja Mario
Extremely disappointed. This restaurant has good food, a bit pricey but the portions make up for it. However, the last time that I ordered food for pick up, I forgot to slash out the tip portion on the receipt and the hostess or whoever, added her own tip and my card was charged that amount. I am a generous tipper but when it comes to came to take out, I am not tipping someone for handing me the bag. This will be taken up to the BBB. Don’t forget to slash or add the exact tip because the hostess may take advantage of your mistake. This was Saturday, July 15 at around 7pm-8pm.
The Spanish food is delicious and you feel the sangria when you get up. If you order a steak, it covers the plate. They also serve a sissling steak bog enough for two. I prefer to go during the week because it's quite crowded on weekends.Food: 5/5
I have been eating at this restaurant chain for more than 10 years. Everything has been good except the fried fish. I ordered it in the past and about 2 weeks ago. It was a waste of $30. Dried, over fried and tasteless. The quality of the service has deteriorated. And, I hope they sanitize that Birthday Chicken hat, it looks worn and dirty to me. Beware: The Birthday Chicken comes out with his whole loud entourage of Musicians, do people actually enjoy that?! I get startled every time they do.
