"Ponderosa is a Christian camp and conference center located just off I-25 between Denver and Colorado Springs, and is the perfect spot to retreat. We’re a rental facility only available for churches, school groups, and various organizations. We are not open to the general public or individual reservations. Our private cabins and dorm-style lodgings can accommodate groups up to 350 guests. We provide quality, professional team-building experiences and a wide range of recreational activities for day-use or camp/retreat groups to utilize."

Went with a family camp group. The main lunch and dinner meals were never served on time. Really a bummer with young kids. Long waits, over salted food. The port-a-potty by the pavilion where most of our activities took place were horrendous. Overfilled, dirty, not small child friendly yet alone adult friendly. Set your expectations low if you have an event at this place. Opt for your own food.
This camp was AWESOME! Great staff and awesome things to do around the camp like hike, disc golf, putt putt, and every sport field or court you could ever need. 11/10 you should go here!
Absolutely had a blast
such a wonderful place to celebrate your relationship with God, or even finding your relationship with Him. the rustic camp offers so many activities and is such a joyous place! the ropes course is so fun, and the zip line is such a thrill!
Really great place. Nice facilities and location. The food they served was surprisingly good. Lots of fun activities to do. Pretty well maintained overall, though the buildings are starting to show their age. Definitely would recommend this spot.

We spent a couple nights here as part of a retreat. We liked that there was a kids playground located near our room Holly and that the dining facility and office were close enough to walk. I wish our room had air conditioning or even a ceiling fan. It wasn't very hot the days we were there, but our room got warm. The beds are quite firm, making for a night of tossing and turning. Be aware that the coffee cabin is "open from 6:45-9am" but the staff close up and go to breakfast in that time for at least 30 minutes. Give yourself lots of time to wait in line and order as service is slow. The snack/gift shop cabin is only open for 30 minutes, what appears to be randomly in the early afternoon. It could definitely be better stocked. The dining facility was over booked. They actually locked the doors the first night to keep people out. They claim the food is "five stars" on their website. That's laughable. It was equivalent to your average cafeteria at best. Everything just seems to be poorly planned/poorly communicated. We had a couple questions after checking in and called the front desk. We left a message maybe around 4:30pm and didn't heard back from anyone until the day after. They changed our schedule several times making it confusing. The buildings definitely feel run down.
I remember seeing a live exorcism here around 1990 ish. I went to Camp circle D for like 6 years. Lots of great memories and some of the scariest. Overall a great place with lots of amenities.

I went here for a catholic retreat and I would say that it was pretty good. The Pikes Peak Conference Room was very well kept, but the stalls had broken locks and could be opened from the outside. I saw absolutely no staff except in the dining hall. Food was the camp food I’ve ever had in my life. I absolutely loved the game room. There were some weird conflicting Covid regulations. Some of our activities were canceled because of multiple people touching a surface, yet one of the activities was dodgeball and basketball.
