The saying, “ everything does not appear as it seems” describes this place. Our plane landed and we were looking for a place to sit and the food was already prepared.... a buffet!! This place was first on the search. When we arrived, we were not sure if we were going to get out and eat. The restaurant was very dingy looking on the outside and inside. We were allowed to look at the buffet before we paid. The food looked good so we decided to stay and eat. It was not crowded and the price was decent for two adult buffets and drinks. We were actually surprised. The restaurant could use a coat of paint and some new furniture. Step into 2018. If we are in the area, we would definitely eat here again.
Place was nasty inside. Dust bunnies fell onto my plate from the ceiling vent that hangs over the salad bar while I was trying to make my salad. All the employees that I saw seemed oblivious to what was going on around them, one waitress laughed as I took a picture of all dust on the ceiling falling onto the salad bar. I do not recommend eating at this location.
I mean it's Ponderosa, and it's really sad to me that all the ponderosas in Michigan seem to be closing. This is comfort food from like when I was in the fifth grade and there was a Ponderosa next to the Catholic school that I used to go to and I would go there probably once a week. Dude it's Dirt Cheap to get the salad bar here that has those chicken wings that there are the exact same as they were when I was little and the rolls are the same too. And it's not going to be the most amazing food on Earth but it is the most amazing cheap food on Earth as far as all-you-can-eat goes. So I'm glad I got here. And hopefully next time I really want to binge on really bad for me comfort food I'll come back again and it'll still be open.
The chicken is the best n i like three fresh food that is always prepared.
Food was pretty good I really love the salad bar the crab salad is on point! The wing dings are good a little to salty but still good. They had ribs on the bar the day I went they were really good. Place is clean and great service! I'll definitely go back!
Unclean , unorganized and just unappetizing and over priced. Restrooms haven't been detailed clean in who knows when! Food was all offer the floor behind the serving counter, and ice on the floor near salad bar that I had to bring to the managements attention even though he stood next to me. I try to be fair in my opinions but i can't excuse anything I experienced.
It was great service was in and out plus the prices were great
The food was not that great to be honest. The bathrooms are disgusting. The there was not a lot of choices to choose from and nor the dessert. The cookies were either hard or soggy. The ice cream was freezer burnt and the prices are too high for that food. If I could rate this a 0, I would. That 14-15 dollars was not worth it never returning in my life.
I happened across this oldé but Goode while looking for something else. Stopped by a couple of days later for lunch. I ordered the salad bar and had to practically crawl outta there. The salad was fresh and crisp. The hot food was hot and seasoned well. The desserts were fresh. Not bad for $9 & change. Bathroom was clean. staff was on top of things. Will definitely go back.
No longer the affordable, excellent steak place. It was very dirty. There were dead flies all over the window area and old food on the sides of the counters and tables. Plus, they got way more expensive. Wont be back unfortunately. Used to love em.
