Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen

We stopped into this Popeyes expecting decent chicken and fast service however we got much more than that. As the staff was very kind and friendly,and the Popeyes chicken was probably the most fresh and i have ever had at a Popeyes location. So if you are in the area craving chicken this Popeyes location should be one of your top spots to stop at.

This review is for the staff and experience, not the food. It’s a chain so expectations need to be reasonable. Walked in around 3:30pm on a Tuesday. In the restaurant it wasn’t busy but the drive thru was. I could hear the staff discussing food quantities and figuring out timing and how much to cook next to fill the orders they had. I had to do a family sized order of which I was trying to figure out the details in the moment. I was greeted by the cashier for assistance but asked for a moment to finalize my order. I asked about larger quantities of chicken and “Sam” whom I think it’s the owner told me they could do pretty much any amount and figure it out. Another employee I believe her son and the cashier asked how many pieces I would need so they could prepare. They were patient while I figured it out. Eventually I gave them my order. Sam asked me about sauce for some tenders I ordered. I had no idea and had to find out but she was sweet and said not to worry and just let her know when I’m ready. She was making sure to ask me about all the options for my order to make sure everything was right. As I waited I watched as a customer that seemed to be a regular came in and was talking with Sam. They made friendly small talk and it was nice to see the staff and customers being cordial, laughing, and conversing. Then another group of customers came in and Sam was making jokes with them and everyone was laughing. It was a nice warm and friendly atmosphere. Her son informed me they were 5 pieces short of what I needed. I could not compromise on the order so I told them so. He told me he would give me a fresh batch of chicken if I could wait. I wasn’t in a hurry so I accepted. Wait times are to be expected for food like this. Albeit I wasn’t in a hurry but I did not feel like I was waiting an unreasonable time. Before I knew it the food was ready. I double checked what I ordered and found a mistake. I let them know and they fixed it immediately. No harm no foul. The small local family business of course it is a corporate chain feel was appreciated. Just for the experience the staff created, I would come back.

Service was good but the chicken wasn't ready. I waited until they called me. The employee called my name and left my bag on the counter in front of a man who decided to dig in my bag for the receipt! So I was disgusted about that. But the service and food was goodFood: 4/5

Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. Both have clearly been sitting for hours. The buns are wet with condensation. Breading on the chicken is so soggy it’s falling off. Pickles wilted. Rubbery chicken. I wouldn’t feed this to a dog. Both are in the trash, glad I had to stop for gas at wawa across the street where I can get edible food. If I could give 0 stars I would. Enjoy the last $10 I will ever spend at Popeyes.

I placed an ubereats order at this location and was met with an open bag upon delivery, no straws for my drinks, no napkins, and a half filled cup of Mac and cheese. My Strawberry lemonades were filled to the brim of the cup with ice and you can tell they just threw strawberry purée over the ice and poured the lemonade instead of putting ice last the correct way. Fries were stale and cold. Chicken sandwich was aight. If you’re gonna give me a drink that’s 70% ice atleast give me a straw to drink it with 1/10 experience

First time ever at Popeye's. Spicy chicken sandwich was very good... The chicken tenders were completely devoid of ANY flavor... Cardboard with a crunchFood: 3/5

I love the manager understanding that I have a stomach condition he is always willing to drop fresh with my request manager is super friendly sweet if he's not working there are employees that give me trouble and talking back rudely because they don't want to do their job they want it easy that could hurt other people if they have a condition

People in the back and kitchen seemed friendly and in overall good mood. Unfortunately the customer serving employee was having a bad day and making a point in showing it to everyone. Additionally got the order wrong twice.Food: 3/5

The food was great. But it seems like every time we go here there is something wrong with the order, usually missing bacon on a sandwich that has bacon and cheese ordered on it.Food: 5/5
