Poppleton Bakery and Cafe

Very sweet little café and bakery that offers breakfast and lunch all day. The quiches are a gluten-free hash brown crust which I have to say is absolutely awesome and satisfying. We got the tomato spinach feta and almond quiche. A side of fruit. A cold brew and a hot coffee. Everything was excellent the service was cheerful and efficient. The place was clean and well decorated

Cute bakery cafe. Market Street is wonderful to walk up and down. We did breakfast, which was delicious omelette and crepes.

Beautiful and delicious cupcakes!!! I ordered cupcakes for a birthday party from Paige. She was responsive and filled the order exactly as I asked for. The cupcakes were literally gorgeous, the silver and gold colors I requested looked so elegant. You can tell these are from an actual bakery; they would never be mistaken for the grocery store. Transporting was made easy by the container provided. Can’t stay enough good things! Thank you!

We had a great breakfast here. The croissant sandwiches were great. I enjoyed the cupcake and my kids loved the s’mores bars. The woman working behind the counter was exceptional! She really was hustling and moving while remaining very pleasant.

Poor interpretation of the French crepe. I was excited to see that Corning had a restaurant with savory crepes on the menu; however, I couldn't have been more disappointed when I opened my take out box to find a crepe overlaying what looked to be a egg patty folded in half. I did eat some of it only to find that the flavors were all wrong together - sweet crepe batter with egg, raw spinach, feta, raw tomatoes and basil mayo.

HOW DELICIOUS! After a nasty interaction at a different diner on Market St., Poppleton's felt so warm & welcoming. To start, it's so cute inside, already looking seasonal for fall! The staff was so nice, giving us time to look the menu over and cracking jokes back & forth with us. Ultimately decided on a full breakfast, bagel & yogurt parfait. Food was done fast, portions were generous to say the least and OMG was it delicious. They are also very kid friendly, ready with a highchair, crayons, coloring materials, etc. We felt SO taken care of, it was a great start to our weekend. Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed! Ordered a custom wedding cake pic 2 in fall colors received cake #1. The bad part about it was that they made the cake a week early! Promised to make a fresh cake since she messed up the days but instead gave us the original cake after being refrigerated/frozen for a week. And yes, we were told they had to go get it out of the freezer when we arrived to pick it up the day of the wedding. Cake was horrible tasting, extremely dry, even the filling was dried out and none of the decorations were edible, not even flowers! They did knock off $15 due to decorations or lack there of, but seriously, it should have at least been fresh like promised and edible! Total waste of money! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

An absolute wonderful place! Baked goods that will bring sunshine to the rainiest days ... Excellent staff! Excellent food! And a venue that is warm, inviting and full of charm. We were looking for a mid-afternoon gluten free treat and stopped in. We were pleased to discover about a dozen GF items including cakes, cake pops, brownies, fruit breads, cup cakes and bars. We chose a piece of the GF Carrot Cake and it was the best we've ever had; was moist and flavorful and with fresh coconut throughout. The classic cream cheese icing screamed more. And the price was very reasonable. We also had a cup of coffee that was delicious. We won't hesitate to stop here the next time we're in town.
