I'd say I'm something of a bread connoisseur, having lived in multiple countries and doing my utmost to avoid supermarket bread in the US, which my wife and I just can't stand... Anyway, the traditional sourdough here at Kind is among the best we've ever eaten. Because it's not full of preservatives, it won't stay fresh on your counter for long; 2 days max. I put it sliced in a Ziploc bag as soon as I get it home. At the end of the 2nd day, it goes in the freezer. We can then toast it or place frozen slices in a Ziploc bag to defrost without drying out. It is delicious, with perfect texture and caramelized crust and not excessively sour.
hard pass on the cookies. i got one of each.. they were dry, hard, and without any taste you'd expect. nothing at all. i took a bite of each and threw away the remainder. wouldn't eat them if they were even free. if you can't bake a cookie, it's difficult to believe you can bake anything else. Although i prefer to support local business - sadly, this is one business i won't be revisiting.
Don’t waste your time and/or money. My husband and I like to support local businesses and we were excited to try the cinnamon rolls from this place. They were out of cinnamon rolls and the guy behind the counter was super rude when asked about the different pastries. Two little pastries costed us over $11.00, and they were sub par…over priced for the quality. Local place Le Rendez-vous serves specialty pastries/desserts for much less and they are kind, friendly, and actually care about what they are selling. First and last time we will ever support Kind Bread Company.
So everything is delicious, the girls are super friendly and can't wait to make a cheese sandwich with the parmesan and pepper loaf!! Today we purchased, a parmesan and pepper loaf, everything bagels, blueberry bagels, green chile cheddar croissant, prosciutto and gruyere croissant, and a raspberry brownie. Everything looks delicious and weve already enjoyed our croissants which definitely do not disappoint....
Good bread but they run out of some items really early. Call before noon to get what you want next day. Pastries are also good, though their cinnamon rolls are huge but only average flavor.
Bought 2 cinn rolls. RAW in the middle. Gross. Made me sick. Oatmeal Cookies were not fully baked either. This place is way to pricy for this kind of product. DONE with this place p
Not sure how I’m just finding out about this place. Picked up some bread and a danish. Delicious! They also sell pizza dough, bagels, croissants, etc. We’ll be back…. Often.
Absolutely the best bakery in Las Cruces. You would have to visit Paris to get a croissant close to this delicious. The Prosciutto & Gruyere are AMAZING!
Delicious croissants
Amazing sourdough. All fresh baked breads, pastries and cookies. They also have a coffee area as well. They have pizza dough available that taste yummy. Such delicious treats.
